Booked for dinner for three of us on Christmas Day. The prosecco was served warm, ie not chilled. Prawn and smoked salmon cocktail had the tiniest piece of smoked salmon in it. Some veggies in the main course were undercooked and inedible which we told the staff. Roast potatoes were overcooked and we weren't able to eat them. My cheese platter did not have any chutney. There was a very long wait between the courses. Three very young staff were on duty - got flustered when they ran out of cutlery. I was overcharged by £20 - when I pointed it out it was refunded.

Have had excellent weekday lunches there before but this was the first time for Sunday lunch and we were not disappointed and will definitely be going back again and would recommend it

Efficient service, good food with an excellent choice of 'Pub Grub', friendly staff and value for money. Not 'Fine Dining' but a good place to eat and have a drink.

The service was really slow. I had the scampi and chips. Several pieces had virtually no scampi in them. My friend had the steak and ale pie that she said was quite nice. She asked at the bar about a pudding but as service was so poor had missed the cut off time. They checked with the kitchen and they did agree to do a pudding but we then decided against it. There was no fresh veg on the menu. Thursday is quiz night but fortunately only 1 team was there so it was cancelled.

Very poor service this time around, very disappointing, lack of choice of food on menu. Ended up with a tikka curry which was not really good, just warm and not the standard of our last visit, not worth the price we had to pay, hopefully it will improve before we visit again.

I booked with open table but when we arrived they had no knowledge of my booking This also happened the last time we booked at Christmas. Not much point in having a booking service if it's not followed up. Two of the items on the menu were not available
