Dining at RED O is an experience like no other that offers a unique combination of Prime Steak and Seafood with Rick Bayless’ signature Mexican inspired influences. With sustainably sourced and local ingredients, RED O creates flavorful dishes true to the authentic flavors of Mexico. RED O’s team of friendly employees creates a welcoming atmosphere that parallels the luxury resort interior of the restaurant. RED O also features an impressive bar and lounge where you’ll find specialty cocktails, an extensive tequila list and an award winning wine list. The bar also offers Happy Hour from 3-6 p.m. daily and Late Night Happy Hour from 9-11pm Friday-Saturday.

Delicious, top-tier Mexican food. Ambiance is among the finest in all San Diego. Red O service is truly outstanding. Awesome server and bartender checked on us diligently. Three separate managers approached us to assure our satisfaction. This was our first time here, and we will be back frequently. They validate parking for three hours.

It was really cold in the restaurant…it would’ve been nicer to be warm, with doors shut.

First impression was bad because we were kept standing and waiting to be seated for 15 minutes although we were on time for our reservation. Also, bar area was ear-splittingly noisy. But once seated in the dining area, the noise level was fine. Our servers, Michael and Pedro, were excellent. They were friendly, polite, attentive and efficient. The food was very good. We especially liked the spinach enchiladas. The prices are higher than seems reasonable. We would highly recommend this restaurant for a special occasion, and we will go there again.

Very nice atmosphere and a genuine Mexican feel with all the decors. The food and customer service were excellent! Highly recommend this restaurant.
