   Had a absolute fantastic time celebrating my wife’s special day today Victor, our server/bartender was absolutely fantastic and attentive. We’ve never been let down every time we’ve been there.

   There was a table of 8 people nearby who were EXTREMELY loud and obnoxious. It would have been nice if staff had asked them to keep it down a little. It certainly affected our mood, in a negative way.

   For the money, just OK is not good enough. Service was great but tartare was bland, fish overcooked.

   Poor experience for everyone at the table. Placed in a forgotten room with no music or ambiance. Martinis were served warm and our wine selection was not available. Due to service delay we took what they suggested so we could enjoy our meal. Appetizers were good, the carpaccio was interesting from most beef based. Steaks were not served hot, a chunk of $6 butter did not melt on them and had to smear it on. Some sides were hot, others not, including crusty Mac and cheese. Server brought our supplied birthday cake to the table without candles and we had to request. They did however slice it nicely for us to take home. Overall we’ve tried Red several times over the past 10 years living in the chagrin valley area and overall there are better options including capital or Hyde park.

   Great experience, service was great, food cooked as ordered and good cocktails/wine. We will return.
