Key West seafood restaurant in the heart of old town on Petronia. The menu is kept small so that everything is nice and fresh for you. Yellowtail snapper, fish of the day, Key West pink shrimp, and seafood medley highlight the menu.
Deviled Eggs topped with Scallops, Shrimp Mango Toast and Crispy Pork Belly Croustinis tantalize the pallet. Beef stroganoff made with certified black angus beef is a favorite.

Relaxing, unpretentious, and romantic.
Seating is very limited.
24 Hour Cancellation window.
For the consideration of our guests, we do not accept parties over the size of six (6).
We offer a 6 pm and an 8 pm seating.

Always one of our first stops in Key West. Terrific wait staff, great vibes, and delicious food. It won our personal Key Lime pie tasting contest.

First time to Key West and Red Shoe Bistro was amazing!! A must dinner if you are in Key West. Everything we ate from appetizers, dinner and dessert was superb! Great atmosphere. 😊

Great food and service at the Red Shoe. Owner and staff were all friendly and welcoming to the guests. Nice touch by the owner to give a street-side introduction and ask if any guests were celebrating a special occasion. And yes, the owner does wear red shoes. Menu has something for everyone, nightly specials, food was prepared perfectly and served hot. Everyone in the party loved their selection. Large selection of wine and beer. Key lime pie was just right sweet / tart. Service was attentive without being intrusive. Decor is focused on pictures and memorabilia of David Bowie, which was pretty cool, maybe not for everyone but interesting.

What a great dining experience for my Birthday! Our sever John was the best explaining everything in great detail. We started out with the fantastic deviled eggs topped with scallops which were over the top terrific . Next 2 of us had the grilled Caesar and 2 had the pear goat cheese salad, all were scrumptious. For Dinner I had the Seafood medley which was done to perfection, 2 had the Fish of the day Black grouper and 1 had their signature dish yellow tail, they all said they were delicious. Dessert we had the signature lavender cheesecake which is a must try, along with the Key Lime pie which we were told has won number one at the Key Lime Festival many times over. Don’t forget to make a reservation as this small hidden gem fills up fast!

This was our best dinner out while on a short and fun anniversary vacation. The pork belly appetizer was amazingly good. The yellow tail dish was fantastic and the key lime pie was the best that we had in Key West. Service was also outstanding and made us feel special as we celebrated our anniversary. This is an outstanding place to go as a couple looking for more of a fine dining experience in Key West. Red Shoe Island Bistro is our “must go” list for our next trip to Key West.

Red Shoe Island Bistro is the best ever! The food is phenomenal! Everyone should go and enjoy the food and the warmth and welcoming of the staff! It’s like you are welcome in their own home for dinner! We are from Tennessee and have been to Key West 5 times in a year and one of our first to do’s is to dine at Red Shoe! They go above and beyond!

This is a must if you’re visiting key west. Every dish from the appetizer to dessert was amazing. The wine our server suggested was also soooo so good. This place came highly recommended by two friends before we made our reservations and now we understand why they were pushing it so hard. Absolutely delicious—if you haven’t eaten here, you haven’t done key west.
