   I was very disappointed last night. We were left standing 20 minutes past our reservation time and then taken upstairs which was quiet but quite cold and no ambiance whatsoever. Our server had zero personality and was not knowledgeable about the menu. My daughter has Celiac and had a few questions and rather than go ask the chef she asked for her second choice and then never came back so when her meal came it was a surprise. She never came back to check on us. The food was barely warm. We sat and waited for our check and when she returned she said because we were upstairs she had to continuously run up and down and claimed she couldn’t check on us because she had gotten stuck in the elevator. It was a $400 meal and a very large disappointment. I would think twice before ever coming back. Typically at nicer restaurants there is a manger walking around and checking on things. Red needs to up their game.

   The food was delicious and the service was great. We both had steaks, of course, and they were superb! The sides are family style with portions large enough for 3+ people. Staff was so attentive. Money well spent!

   One of the best restaurant meals I’ve had in a long time. My only complaint was the noise level that made it difficult to carry on a conversation at a table for five.

   Red was beyond our expectations. We expected good steaks. We got perfect ones. Every side dish was well seasoned. At our very picky party of six, there were zero complaints about anything. Our server was engaging and funny and even rapped a little birthday song for one of our party. Definitely recommend for great food and terrific ambiance.

   The food is good, but for the price, this is not a steakhouse experience. We were seated in the bar, which I realized too late was noisy and uncomfortable. The steaks were well seasoned, and the sides were tasty, too. The pear dessert was not good; it tasted stale. Overall, this wasn’t a relaxing night out for us.
