My husband and I had lunch and I ordered a beet salad and seared foie gras and soufflé while husband had rack of lamb. We were both extremely impressed with our food. Kudos to the chef. The service was equally amazing. The staff was very friendly, polite and helpful. We couldn’t ask for more.

We arrived early for our reservation. Rene's was able to accommodate us with little to no fuss. We decided to eat here after our elopement. The restaurant came highly recommended by a family member with the same first name—Rene. He always joked it was his restaurant. Rose peddles a card on the table, thanking us for joining them for our wedding night meal. Service was top-notch. Our waiter—I wish I could remember his name—was excellent. He did not force us into anything. He left us alone and let us just enjoy the moment together. He did check on us, but it was not like some waiters, who wait for you to finish. He just happened to know when we finished a conversation. The food was the best. The steaks are perfectly cooked. The desserts were on point, too.

Had a wonderful experience for our anniversary there. They went above and beyond from the table setting to the service, and the food the chef prepared was excellent! I Would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a romantic place to go.

The best food I have ate in Sedona. Better than Mariposa, Elote, Shorebird.

Rene at Tlaquepaque is a fine dining experience in a beautiful shopping complex. We ate in the lounge/bar area, but the main dining room and outside are also great options. The food is spectacular! Tried the beet salad, lobster bisque and salmon - all prepared to perfection. Very creative cocktails and extensive wine list. Our server Josh was amazing! For a special occasion or to treat yourself, would definitely recommend.

Great food. Service could be better. The server we had that night tend to ignore you if you don't order a drink (e.g. wine, etc.) People have reasons why they opt to simply get water. Because they have to drive or because of medical conditions. However, to our server that night, we were treated as less than compared to the next table who ordered a bottle of wine. The server didn't even check if we needed more water. For fine dining and the price, I expected more. Great food though!

Our experience at Rene for my daughter’s birthday and New Year’s Eve was absolutely amazing!! Everything was top notch and spot on. We loved every part of our evening. Special thanks to our server Josh with his perfect attention balance!

We had dinner on NYE here. Was a great experience. The staff was very accommodating and the food quality was great. Our waiter had wine and cocktail recommendations that paired great with our order. We brought our 11 year old, and when he returned to school in Ohio the following week, everyone wanted to know about his time in Sedona... he said his favorite part of the trip was the 45-day dry aged ribeye that he ended up stealing from my plate.

Rene’s was excellent. Very expensive but it was our 20th anniversary so we went all out. Extremely romantic with fantastic cuisine and terrific service. I look very forward to going back on another special occasion.
