Repeal is Whiskey Row’s only oak-fired steakhouse, located at the birthplace of J.T.S. Brown & Sons Bourbon Company in Louisville. A stylish departure from a traditional steakhouse, Repeal uses a wood-fired grill stoked daily with reclaimed American Oak bourbon barrels. Repeal is a tribute to the Repeal of Prohibition – a place to see, be seen and celebrate the rich tradition of the building in which it resides.

Now serving breakfast, lunch, dinner and weekend brunch.

We’ve been to Repeal several times now and is consistently outstanding in every way. Best steak in Louisville…and maybe Kentucky.

This was my daughter and i’s first time dining here. We loved it especially the see through ceiling and the ornaments hanging from the ceiling.

Food was good, not sure it’s the best steak I’ve ever had but was delicious. Loved the whipped potatoes! Michael was a great server and very knowledgeable about the menu. Good food, great service, just not sure it’s worth the price.

We had an awesome time with our server Keith, the drinks were fantastic, food was all perfectly cooked and had fantastic recommendations from him, we will definitely come back and would love to have Keith again.

Our waiter Michael was amazing. He really knew the menu and his recommendations hit the spot. The food was very flavorful and delicious to eat.

The staff was amazing, very attentive and very knowledgeable. Our steak and lobster was amazing! The chimmichurri did not seem 100%fresh but I still liked it. I would go again!
