Repeal is Whiskey Row’s only oak-fired steakhouse, located at the birthplace of J.T.S. Brown & Sons Bourbon Company in Louisville. A stylish departure from a traditional steakhouse, Repeal uses a wood-fired grill stoked daily with reclaimed American Oak bourbon barrels. Repeal is a tribute to the Repeal of Prohibition – a place to see, be seen and celebrate the rich tradition of the building in which it resides.

Now serving breakfast, lunch, dinner and weekend brunch.

                                        A definite must stop in Louisville. The bread alone is worth the trip. Steaks cooked to perfection. Definitely order the whipped mashed potatoes. The signature old fashioned are unique. Service was impeccable.

                                        We got our food to go and I did not think the ribeye had any flavor to it. The French onion soup was not good. It taste very watered down. The fries were tasty.

                                        Best bread, best whipped mashed potatoes. One damn good steak! Service was amazing. 2nd time here but if I lived closer, I’d be here every night!
