Experience award-winning fine dining in a modern, contemporary setting while supporting our highly talented students on their journey to professional excellence. Restaurant at Birmingham College of Food offers top quality food and service delivered by students training on our chef, food service courses under the guidance of industry expert tutors at University College Birmingham.

Restaurant provides exceptional value for money for high levels of cooking, service, creative flair and quality seasonal produce. Our Dinner Menu might include delicious fish and shellfish, premium beef, lamb, poultry or game, and imaginative vegetarian dishes. This runs alongside a lunchtime menu providing excellent value for money. The restaurant also draws on a dedicated pastry section where our skilled student chefs produce an array of elegant desserts.

The restaurant is available for exclusive use for private events for lunches and or dinners. with the capacity to accommodate 120 guests, it is the perfect space. We offer menus to suit you and your guests, this can be for birthdays, Holy Communions, special anniversaries, we are here to help. For a private event only please call 0121 604 1000 and ask the Reception team to transfer you to Anna Hughes, Head of Commercial Sales.

A unique experience where food was very good in association with staff members that brim with the enthusiasm of having just commenced their new careers in the food industry. My only advice for the college would be to enable the tipping of staff through card payment. Alas we had no cash and therefore were unable to tip for the very good service received.

We loved the food and the staff were very attentive. Some of them were a bit shy but their confidence will grow with experience. Loved the whole experience

Had a lovely 3 course lunch - very skillfully cooked, great flavours and generous portions. Service was very polite and efficient. Good range of wines by the glass - pleased to see that they were sourced from Fraziers, a local independent wine merchant. Will be back!

The food (particularly the starter and main course) is as good as you can find in a restaurant. The price is very good, considering the quality of cuisine.

The whole experience from start to finish was exceptional. Considering it is staffed by young people learning the restaurant trade it was a wonderful evening. We will certainly go again when in the Birmingham area.
