The Restaurant at The Durham serves an ever-evolving seasonal menu of American classics and regional specialties made with the bounty of produce, meats, cheeses and seafood from our local farms and purveyors. Start with drinks and sunset views on The Roof, followed by dinner in the Restaurant’s glass-walled dining room with striking mid-century design.

Join us on Sunday, December 15, at The Durham for our final Sunday Supper: Holiday Feast. Step into a dining room adorned with mid-century modern holiday décor—candlelight casting a warm glow, the scent of slow-cooked dishes filling the air, and holiday melodies setting the scene. Enjoy succulent glazed ham and tender lamb cassoulet, paired with saffron leek risotto, pomegranate molasses-sumac carrots and hakurei turnips. Fresh 9th Street Bakery baguette and a crisp Vera Luce Farms chicory salad with roasted apple-buttermilk dressing complete the meal. Finish with molasses-gingerbread cake topped with port-poached pears and mascarpone cream. Priced at 45$ for adults, 15$ for kids, this evening celebrates the season with warmth and flavor.

While we enjoyed our food, it took 1 hour 40 minutes to get through a prix fixe menu. When we were originally seated, we were not given the correct menu, despite confirming online. The menu is called the pre theater dinner and yet there was little mindfulness to our start time of 8pm for our show. We had to run to make it 8 minutes before the start time. Our reservation was at 6 and we got there at 6:02. At times I felt that I was having to rush the staff. There were four other tables in the restaurant during our dinner. The food was delicious, although the appetizer soup was warm and not hot. Lesson learned. We will not be dining before any other time obligations in the future.

Second year spending Thanksgiving at The Durham. Excellent Family Style dinner. Our server was excellent and the whole staff was welcoming especially Tyson, the manager. Highly recommended

Really nice experience. Wished there was more food but I enjoyed every course. The staff were attentive and polite. chef Savannah is an amazing and talented chef and so glad to have her in Durham.

Friendsgiving at the Durham Hotel was pleasant in atmosphere and joining with friends but the meal was not very good and parts were even cold (beans were cold) though the restaurant was not busy. I would not return to dinner here.

The wait staff was totally professional and "Johnny on the Spot" with any of our needs. The food was fantastic, and a great value for what was provided.

First off drink order wasn't correct and had to be remade. Surprising that the restaurant was almost empty at 7pm even though the streets were packed with traffic and a large number of people walking downtown. Significant foot traffic through the lobby going upstairs. I had the jerk chicken. Large portion but vegetables were over cooked and presentation was not the best. Service was good. Price was too high for the value of the food Now I know why they only serve dinner a few evenings a week.

Cute boutique hotel with a mid-century modern vibe in the main dining room. The Bloody Mary was excellent. The food was meh. The service was slow.

Friendly, responsive staff. Food was good, although my wife ordered a kind of trout that tasted like salmon, which she greatly dislikes. The staff responded well to the situation by providing another option and not charging us for the original order. That was a great customer service gesture. Overall, was a nice experience.
