August is a Contemporary Creole restaurant creating unique dishes with a focus on Louisiana ingredients and inspired by classical training. Located in a historic 19th century French-Creole building in New Orleans’ Central Business District, the main dining room caters to the most unique dining experience. The interior is rich with original architectural details, gleaming hardwood floors, soaring columns, mahogany paneling and antique mirrors.

Dagli editor di OpenTable: August remains the flagship restaurant within the BRG Hospitality group, and it’s a grande dame dining room of New Orleans. The building rose tall in the 1830s, and the elegant space features mahogany panels and antique mirrors. The modern Creole menu offers a chef’s tasting in seven courses, from red snapper crudo to lavender panna cotta. The team also has a reputation for impeccable service, earning a couple of James Beard nominations in the past decade.

Priced at $140 per person (excluding tax and gratuity), this thoughtfully curated meal features seasonal ingredients and holiday-inspired dishes that are sure to make your evening magical. Whether you're gathering with family or friends, immerse yourself in the warm, welcoming ambiance of August as we toast to the season. Please note there will be no A la Carte menu or Chef's Tasting menu on Christmas Eve.

  • Reveillon at Restaurant August

    Celebrate the New Orleans tradition of Reveillon this year at August. We will offer a seven-course menu for the month of December that celebrates the abundance of Louisiana. The menu will include Fruits de Mer, Spoonbread, Pan Seared Pompano, Satsuma-Glazed Duck Breast, A5 Wagyu Beef, Saffron Poached Pear, and Chocolate Ganache. The prix-fixe menu is $185 per person excluding tax & gratuity with wine pairings available. The Reveillon menu will be in place of the Chef's Tasting Menu for the month.

                                                      My husband and I had a great time! Really felt like a Michelin Star restaurant. We had heard great things about the restaurant from many people during our visit to NOLA. Everyone at the Four Seasons highly recommended it. Will be back again :) the atmosphere was beautiful and the dinner felt very intimate. They were willing to accommodate my husbands shellfish allergy even with a set and limited menu.

                                                      Another amazing meal and experience at August! The Thanksgiving Pre Fixe menu was to die for. The best gnocchi I've ever tasted. One of my favorite restaurants in the country!

                                                      Everything was wonderful as usual. This was our 4th Thanksgiving with August. The noise level was a problem this year because of one of the larger tables in the room where we were seated. One could tell by the looks on other’s faces in the room that no one was pleased at having their Thanksgiving dinner compromised by the bad behavior of a small group of people. I understand that the restaurant cannot control the guests, but it was extremely annoying. Everyone was relieved when the table departed.

                                                      We were in New Orleans for 5 nights and ate at fantastic restaurants for lunch and dinner every day. Our meal and experience at Restaurant August was our #1. Food, service, wine, experience all spectacular! I would definitely rate it higher than 5***** to stand it apart.
