August is a Contemporary Creole restaurant creating unique dishes with a focus on Louisiana ingredients and inspired by classical training. Located in a historic 19th century French-Creole building in New Orleans’ Central Business District, the main dining room caters to the most unique dining experience. The interior is rich with original architectural details, gleaming hardwood floors, soaring columns, mahogany paneling and antique mirrors.

Dagli editor di OpenTable: August remains the flagship restaurant within the BRG Hospitality group, and it’s a grande dame dining room of New Orleans. The building rose tall in the 1830s, and the elegant space features mahogany panels and antique mirrors. The modern Creole menu offers a chef’s tasting in seven courses, from red snapper crudo to lavender panna cotta. The team also has a reputation for impeccable service, earning a couple of James Beard nominations in the past decade.

This menu is $185 per person excluding tax and gratuity. Enhance your meal with a thoughtful and intentional wine pairing with six courses, +$110 per person or reserve wine pairings, + $170 per person.

    We did the chef’s tasting and it did not disappoint. Each selection was amazing. It’s a great way to try new things. Service was outstanding. Highly recommend!

    Outstanding service and delicious food. I would definitely recommend the duck breast and the strip steak. Smaller portions, however taste was on point. I can’t express how excellent the service was for our dinner. Mary Anne and everyone we encountered were amazing!!

    We had a wonderful time on Bacchus Sunday! The staff was gracious, friendly and helpful. Food was excellent, loved both the tuna and snapper. Would definitely recommend.

    One of our favorite places in the city, the service is great, the cornbread is my favorite (pro tip: ask for two or get one of each bread offered bc the Parker house roll is also delish). The cocktails are tasty, the hot honey is my current favorite. Highly recommend the foie gras and the mezzaluna appetizers, as well as the snapper and duck entrees which our group had and loved, said it was their favorite dish of the trip. The mushroom entree is incredible - and vegetarian! Also loved the pavlova dessert.
