Home of good food, good drinks & good times, Restaurant Elsie is a casual neighborhood dining space offering a modern Australian menu with something for everyone.

Our focus is on quality cooking and feel good food with a seasonal menu, mostly Aussie wine list & blackboard of ever changing plates.

Reservations highly encouraged.

Bake sale happens every 2nd & 4th Saturday from 8am until sold out.

Surpassed every expectation! Welcomed warmly by friendly service staff, very attentive throughout the evening. Appeared to be a full house in the dining room though this added to the atmosphere. My partner and I were able to share our meals, specially enjoyed the prawn cocktail, ribeye and gnocchi. The focaccia was delish dipped into oil and we were very pleased to finish off the evening with the honey custard. The evening was our highlight of our entire Maggie Island getaway. Will definitely return and highly recommend to everyone. Thank you again Restaurant Elsie for an unforgettable evening.

Our return visit after a year. Just as outstanding and innovative menus. The potions very generous. Flavourful and mouthwatering dishes. Would recommend a visit to anyone on Magnetic Is. Apparently they bake on Saturday mornings. Must visit then. Excellent on all counts.

Gorgeous little restaurant with a terrific, laid-back ambiance and attentive staff. Food is absolutely delicious. Thank you for accommodating my toddler too - colouring pencils and pages are a lovely touch.

Great food, great service, and a beautiful setting. Really cute little restaurant that feels like I’m you’re in an old yet fresh and stylish fishing boat. There was a large loud group sitting behind us so I imagine the ambiance would be calm and relaxing otherwise. Will definitely come back.

A girlfriend and I spent an afternoon for Sip and food on Easter weekend and we loved it The cocktails were delicious The served was great and the vibe was AMAZING We can’t sit to come back another time and try more

Our whole experience was 5 star. The staff, the atmosphere and the food were all amazing. I highly recommend Restaurant Elsie as your go to place to dine on Magnetic Island.
