Die Villa Merton liegt im „Diplomatenviertel“, einem der elegantesten Frankfurter Quartiere. Richard Merton ließ das Haus im neobarocken Stil 1925 als Privatvilla erbauen. 2002 errichtet der Union International Club in der Villa das Restaurant Villa Merton. Seit 2003 ist das Restaurant durchgehend mit einem Michelin-Stern ausgezeichnet. 2009 bekamen die Räumlichkeiten eine umsichtige Rundum-Erneuerung, des Weiteren wurden im Obergeschoß Räume für exklusive Tagungen im kleinen Kreis geöffnet. PHILOSOPHIE Küchenchef Matthias Schmidt und Restaurantleiter Thierry Felden sind zwei leidenschaftliche Gastronomie-Profis, die mit Ihrem Team diese Leidenschaft für unvergessliche Genüsse an Sie weiter geben.

familyで利用しました。フランクフルトの高級住宅街の中の一軒家的なお店でした。本当に雰囲気のある素敵な建物とお料理の丁寧さに感動しました。日本の方もフランクフルトに行かれた際には足を運んでみてください。ワインもとても美味しかったしスタッフの方もみなさん素敵な方ばかりでした。

die amuse und die 3 ersten gänge waren auf 2 bis 3 sterne level...sensationell ..... der hauptgang bei mir war kalb und das fleisch war viel zu zäh... und bei meiner frau der vegetarische hauptgang hat nicht geschmeckt. als 3 x 10 punkte ... dann hauptgang 3 punkte .... dessert 6 punkte

Es freut uns sehr, dass die ersten Gänge Sie so überzeugt haben. Schade ist es jedoch, dass Sie am Abend nicht mit unserem Serviceteam gesprochen haben, dass Ihr Fleisch im Hauptgang zäh war und Ihrer Frau der Gang nicht geschmeckt hat. Gerne hätten wir noch am Abend reagiert und eine Alternative angeboten oder eine anderweitige Kompensation vorgenommen. Das war bereits unser dritter Besuch in der Villa Merton. Wiedermal ein gelungener Abend, schönes Ambiente, hervorragender Service, das Gourmet-Winter Special einfach köstlich, die Weine und der Champagner hervorragend. Wir freuen uns auf den nächsten Besuch.

Weak service, limited standouts, no ambience, unfriendly

Outstanding location. You are in the City but it seems to be immersed far away from traffic and noise. Tables are placed in a way to give the right intimacy. The staff, from when the welcome you, till the end, is very professional. We were four and went for a four course menu. It was possible to select dishes as we wanted, a clear signal to be close to customer desires. The food was perfect, a mix of flavour and texture unique experience. We ask advises for the wine, and what suggested met our expectation. At the end a perfect place for an intimate dinner but also for a business dinner. Please keep this level!
