   A beautiful hotel and restaurant but rather disappointing dinner for our last night on the Baja. Service was good but not real friendly. Margaritas were good. Hamachi appetizer tasted a little fishy, fish special was okay but not great, pork chop was about half fat. Everything needed seasoning, but no salt/pepper on table. For the price, we expected better than average.

   If you appreciate highly trained Staff, exceptional food and the finest wine selection in BCS (Thankyou Jorge) all wrapped in old world classy environment that can not be beat!

   Loved this restaurant. Great food, lovely service. Gorgeous setting. One comment: neither my husband nor I drink alcohol, and we felt pushed to (directed to the bar even though our table was ready) at every turn. Our waiter was very attentive, but I felt like his training demanded that he push the alcohol. This should be a thing of the past, in this and all restaurants.

   Outstanding experience at 1890. Amazing food, Spectacular decor, fantastic service. The service was truly next level and our server Fredi (not sure if I’m spelling his name correctly) really was the best. We will most definitely return and specifically request Fredi on future visits!

   Beautiful restaurant and outstanding food. Because I was a party of 1, the wait staff tended to ignore me. The service could have been better.

   Do not bother. Overpriced food small portions and terrible service. We were the only table in the restaurant and received virtually no service. Our food sat under heat lamps while the staff drank shots together and ignored our table. The burger was $21 and smaller than 3oz. The entire experience for lunch took forever (salads took 35 mins to reach the table). We will never go back and would encourage you not to go either. We had to go to another restaurant after so that our kids could have a real meal.

    1890 is a gem! I’ve rarely experienced such a well designed space and dining experience such as this.
