   The service and atmosphere were exceptional! The appetizer I had was wonderful, pastel de choclo. The dessert was also very nice, mil hojas de manzana. However, the main course was not good, raviolis wanton. Some may enjoy the flavor. I did not. It overpowered the delicate crab. What made it inedible was the crunchy bits of shell in the crab mixture in the wontons. I ate a bit then packed it up to see if my husband would like it (he was not with me). He was also put off by the flecks of crab shell and the strong flavor. I would suggest taking it off the menu.

   The food was excellent, the waiter was restless (he talked too much), the sommelier was great, the music coming from the bar next to the restaurant was way too loud. I could hardly hear the nice jazz music in the restaurant. We asked one of the waiters to turn down the music coming from the bar. He said maybe they should stop the music in te restaurant a play the music of the bar louder. I told him the music coming from the bar did not suit the ambiance in the restaurant. The restaurant is sophisticated. It has a beautiful fine dining layout. De oemf oemf kaboem kaboem music from the bar (which was completely empty) was a big shame and killed the atmosphere for me. The waiters should leave their music preference at home! They liked the local music coming from the bar and therefore unwilling to stop is or lower the volume. I don’t think I will be back.

   He viajado por todo el mundo y en ningún lugar me sirvieron tan poca comida. Fue realmente una burla. Ni un niño come tan poco. Pedí cochinillo con papas y me trajeron 3 cuadraditos de cerdo lleno de grasa con 3 papitas cóctel. Además carísimo.

   Maras has a reputation for having the finest Peruvian food in Lima, and I cannot imagine any place could be any better. Each course was unique in flavor and presentation.

   Our waiter Johan was amazing. The food was very tasty. The oso bucco was amazing. all the appetizers were great. The pasta is a very small portion.

    Un lugar a cual no volveríamos a ir. El lugar es precioso, sin embargo el restaurante está al costado del bar. El nivel de bulla era tal que ni podía conversar con mi esposa. Los precios de los platos son acorde a un restaurante de calidad; sin embargo, los tamaños son pequeños. Con ese mismo dinero, en otros restaurantes, sea Fauna, carnal, AmoraMar entre otros, esta mejor invertido. Fue el aniversario con mi esposa, y en lugares de menor categoría hemos recibido siempre o un saludo del mozo, o un presente por parte de ellos. Aquí estuvieron más apurados en irse, no hubo ni un saludo, y el trato que recibimos no fue malo,solo que no fue acorde a lo que esperábamos para la fecha. Definitivamente no volveríamos más a este lugar...
