Located in Greenville’s Historic West End district, Rick Erwin’s West End Grille is a traditional American steak and seafood house that takes fine dining to new levels. With a stylish bar, cozy wine cellar, and inviting dining room bathed in rich, dark woods, West End Grille boasts an atmosphere infused with ambiance and complemented by an extensive contemporary menu and fine wine list. At the same time, intimate and striking, sophisticated and comfortable. A private glass-encased dining room seats 24 and is adjacent to an elegant wine cellar with a vast selection of fine wines. Next door to the restaurant is a private 2,500 square-foot private dining room available for larger private dinners and special occassions. Our commitment is a memorable, outstanding dining experience for every guest.

Steak was good. Not great. Too much dressing on the salad, bread was meh. Unremarkable, in general. Service was better than the food quality, but things were forgotten, table had dirty dishes on it.

The environment was very nice. However, the food chicken wasn't up to par. This was all of our first time visiting the restaurant. we are locals born and raised, so we're familiar as to what's near. Our waiter was amazing she gets a 10 across the board the vallet men also

My husband and I were celebrating our 23rd wedding anniversary. Our server was Preston. He was very attentive, very personable, and made our night so special. Also received a personal visit from Mr. Irwin. I cannot say enough good things about our special night. And we owe it all to Rick Irwin’s and our server Preston. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts!

Celebrating husband’s birthday at Rick Irwin’s, from the moment we arrived the evening was absolutely amazing! Our servers were full of life and professional! The food was delicious !!!! One of the best dining places in South Carolina! Thank you

Our server Molly was the best! Polite helpful knowledgeable about pairings and checked on us just the right amount. Food and wine were AMAZING!! Best steak I’ve had in a long time!

They have the potential to be a great restaurant, but serving cold food and hot wine is not going to get them anywhere. I ordered a bottle of wine that was featured in the menu. The waitress came back, without the wine and took our food order. Shortly after she walks to the table with an ice bucket and bottle of wine. She said we needed to wait a few minutes it was still a little warm. She then has me try the wine for taste, wine is hot, hard to decide if I like it or not. Food order comes, I had the surf and turf and my friend ordered the cake cakes. My steak is rare bs medium rare. The waitress takes my plate, and after is minute or two comes back with same plate minus the steak. Now my crab cake, asparagus, and mashed potatoes were cold. The waitress has me taste the wine again to see if its cold. Still hot. My steak comes back and was cooked to the correct temperature, but again the rest of meal was now cold. My friend and I are half through our meal and the waitress has me try the wine, still hot. She makes a comment that it must need an ice bath, and goes and adds water to the bucket. We continue to wait of this wine. She offers to get us a cold glass of wine on the house for us to spilt. She brings us the half glass each and we proceed to finish our meal. We are done eating our meal. We try the wine again and it finally is a little colder, but not as cold as you would drink a white wine. Waitress pours me a glass and totally forgets my friend. We get dessert and then waitress proceeds to fill both our glasses to the brim to empty the bottle. It was super rude and we were done with dinner at this point. We were here to celebrate a new job my friend started. We planned to start our night over wine. Not once did the waitress offer to give us a different bottle of wine that was indeed cold and also stated that it could not be removed from the bill since we drank the wine, half of which was still in the glasses on the table.
