Nestled in an historic brewery building in the Village of Wauwatosa, Ristorante Bartolotta dal 1993 is the flagship restaurant in The Bartolotta Restaurants portfolio. Conceived by The Bartolotta Restaurants co-founders, restaurateur Joe Bartolotta and his brother, Chef Paul Bartolotta, it is acclaimed for its handmade pasta and authentic Italian cuisine in a cozy, intimate setting. Executive Chef Juan Urbieta presents the popular “Un Viaggio in Italia” menu series, highlighting a different city or region of Italy with a four-course, customizable menu that takes guests on a journey of Italy and changes monthly.The restaurant was recently awarded the coveted Marchio Ospitalità Italiana certification of excellence by the Italian Union of Chamber of Commerce. This prestigious award honors a restaurant for its commitment to “Made in Italy” quality and authenticity. Reservations are recommended, and we have a 15-minute grace period, so please call us if you are running late.

Amazing dinner and service. There was a bit of a wait even with a reservation but everything else was superb! The dinner experience is always a favorite of ours!

I’m sure prixe fixe is more profitable but it’s getting old. It’s 2025, bring back papardelle duck ragu any time I want it. Servers were very good.

This restaurant is very quaint, with a wonderful ambiance. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable about the menu and food. We were here for Valentine's Day and had a great experience. I can't compliment the food enough! My husband and I ordered all different food and everything was exceptional! We would not hesitate to come here again. If you love good food, and being treated special while you're eating it, this is your place!

Every course in this meal was superb. It was a cold, snowy night but this just added to the ambience. The waitstaff was attentive and helpful. We were so pleased with our dining experience.

I felt like I was at a timeshare for Italian food. The servers kept pressuring us to buy extra items to add to an already complete fixed menu. Beware, there is a $75 minimum per person menu charge before you can have a drink and then we felt pressure by the servers to buy extra items. They interrupted our nice conversation several times to try to sell us add-ons. Did I mention we felt pressured to buy extra items. Don’t get me wrong. The quality the food is excellent! I’m sure managers are pressuring. The weight staff on the sales pitches .

The food was amazing! All four courses were excellent and the added truffles were a real treat! While the food was exceptional it was a little pricey. What was most disappointing, however, was the service…not real knowledgeable and not very attentive at all!
