   It was our first visit and we were very impressed, the staff were all lovely and engaging, restaurant was clean, great menu choice and a specials menu too. Food was excellent and great value.

   Overall, probably 4.5 out of 5. The service was a little slow, given it wasn't a busy time, but the food was very good, each element of the main course being of a high standard. Puddings were also very tasty. We felt that the size and quality of the Yorkshire pudding required more gravy than came on the plate, but in fairness when we asked for more, it arrived very quickly. Overall a very enjoyable experience, we will be happy to return soon.

   Very accomodating and excellent service and food. We ate from set lunch menu and they adjusted for one of us gluten free. Thanks to Angela and colleagues. We will definately be back.

   Visitors for the first time today. From the minute we stepped inside , it was amazing. It’s has a fantastic atmosphere with the nicest waiting staff I’ve met in a long time. The food was great and the atmosphere was just right. Not too loud and great choice of music being played. We will definitely be back

   Lovely food and decent service, it’s our first visit since change of hands. I always wonder why restaurants ask if you’re celebrating a birthday on the reservation, (we had a 21st and a 25th) and also mentioning it to all three servers then ignore it completely! Restaurant was half full at best in a Friday with football on a TV in the bar with resulting cheering and usual shouting at ref decisions throughout the game. We wouldn’t suggest the venue for a birthday celebration but will go back at some point, maybe when the game is on.
