We really enjoy the food at River Café. We always visit during our trips to Puerto Vallarta. We especially like their Sunday buffet.

The Pinot Grigio was perfectly chilled. The pear salad delicious and the Lasagna is the best I have ever eaten. The pork chop was also wonderful. Service excellent and music a nice touch

After all these years since last in PV and enjoying River Cafe, we were a bit tentative about a return visit. How could it still be great after all these years !?!? Well, surprise surprise !! It was even better than we remember. Menu is ideal for all tastes. And generous portions. And servers are serious professionals. They have game. It’s beautiful at night by the river. We were spoiled all night. And they 1/2’d the dishes we were sharing without us even asking. Classy touch. We had yummy Calamari, perfect Caesar salad and the Linguini with Seafood ( licked the bowl with warm fresh bread that was refilled without asking…) We enjoyed 2 for 1 Margaritas. Wow. And no skimping on the Alcohol. I can’t rave enough. My brother and sister in law from LA were with us and they could not believe how phenomenal the experience was. Please go here and support a local icon…. Thanks serving team Antonio and Christian and Eric and the kitchen staff. Thank you

Fabulous from the start - the service was excellent without being obsequious- they weren’t pushy. The meal was beautiful from the tasty little rolls ant tiny squares of butter to the apps and main courses- each was a well presented as it was delicious
