   Very pleasant atmosphere and service. Food was outstanding, though menu was a little more limited than I would prefer. We both were delighted with our meals, and the deserts were superb. Great place for a birthday celebration.

   Rivers Edge gave us a night to remember after a beautiful day of wine tasting in the applegate. Our server was attentive and positive, the food was excellent (from appetizer to dessert), and the ambiance was perfect. We will definitely go back.

   Halibut special was perfectly prepared, however the Potato Pave was tasteless & undercooked. Presentation was beautiful as was the Raspberry Beurre Blanc. Steelhead Trout was delicious although a bit overcooked. Presentation was visually appealing. We had table overlooking the river which was nice - restaurant in the process of doing some refurbishing of the patio in anticipation of the "season", so the view included construction materials - but didn't impact the river view. The big downside was the service. Although it was a Friday evening, neither the restaurant nor bar area was not busy. So we were surprised it took so long to order/receive our wine. We enjoyed the view & libations for a bit, wondering when our dinner order would be taken. The server seemed to be MIA (he had taken the order of the table next to us who arrived after us). He finally came and took our order. Then, MIA again. After close to 25 minutes, we were able to flag the server down to inquire about our meal. He said it was on the way, that there was a large table of 10 he was taking care of. Wait, wait, wait. He finally brought our entrees 15 minutes later. Again, he told us the large table had ordered the Halibut special, and it takes a long time, sorry for the wait. Really? We waited over an hour from the time we received our wine until entrees delivered. And without us being kept appraised - we had to track the server down. Inattentive service is just something one doesn't expect from a nice (both in ambience & price) restaurant.

   Little bit of children screaming but not excessive, save the mother or father. I dealt with the child pretty quickly.

   Great view of the river. They have a happy hour, musician and good food. Service was fine. Came in from So. Calif. and enjoyed our visit

   My wife and I both ordered the Filet mignon, I ordered mine medium and hers medium rare. When they arrived all the food was piled in center of plate, whipped potatoes, asparagus under the steak smashed into the potatoes which bled into the potatoes. Totally unappetizing! then my steak was supposed to be medium was rare and had to be sent back. To make matters worse it was my wife's birthday!
