   Our first experience at Rix. We were not disappointed. The menu , although limited, is quite impressive,. The appetizers are satisfying and well prepared. We enjoyed delicious cocktails along with a delicious main course. The wait staff are professional, attentive, and very helpful. It is a tastefully appointed restaurant atop the Ada hotel - giving new meaning to hotel restaurants. A wonderful experience for easy get-togethers and special occasions. You won’t be disappointed!

   Terrific place to eat and enjoy family. Service is attentive but not rushed. Feels very comfortable like eating Europe.

   First, The disappointing—We were celebrating 3 birthdays so I booked a table for 6 early as that is the max number allowed without a $2k minimum. We also booked 2 rooms so we could drink and relax after without driving. We live 20 minutes away. Nothing online said we’d be sat outside. We got all dressed up with no sleeves and were sat outside with golf on the TV, people in sweats and a breeze as it was only 50 some degrees!! We had to ask 3 times for a heater. It was my 50th. If I would have known to ask to be sat inside I would have. If that is what you want make sure you call versus use Open Table like I did. We sat outside on a random Saturday afternoon so it wasn’t the special vibe photos of inside we saw online that made us choose this place to celebrate a special event. It looked so fancy…it wasn’t. Now the good—the service and food were outstanding and the cocktails next level. Riley took amazing care of us and we would go back on a Tuesday night, but not for a special occasion. Other places in town do better for that. No dessert offered either. With 3 of us celebrating that is a huge missed opportunity to impress.

   We’ve been to The Post and The Rix several times but this was our first brunch and it did not disappoint. The hotcakes and chicken were a favorite. The whole family was happy and satisfied with their meals. Will be a favorite Sunday brunch spot for our family.

   The location is amazing. Such a cool, modern atmosphere located on the third floor. We had a table by the windows we’re you could open for fresh air and a view of the river. The Chuck and Duck sliders were amazing! Our main course was just ok. Service was fine, but nothing special. The highlight was the atmosphere and location. Everything else was just ok. Would definitely come back, but probably not for a special occasion.

   Cocktails are NYC pricey but incredible. Had a charcuterie board that was an amazing value for the amount it contained and filled 3 of us. Will be back!
