   Very disappointed with the service …. 8 out of 10 enjoyed their mains, my main I asked for medium rare beef, it was rare, very disappointed, very rare, did anyone once ask if everything was ok … no … not once …. They took my plate away and did they ask, no. …. We had to ask for our wine to be topped up, we had to ask where some dishes were, some never arrived !! We refused to pay the service charge … they accepted that. Shame as was so looking forward to this place.

   The setting is beautiful, expecially if you are in the area with flowers on the ceiling (we werent in that area but the whole place is beautiful). An oasis of tranquility in the hustle and bustle of borough market. We had several starters and rib eye. Rib eye was pretty good. Starters (scotch egg and beef croquettes) not great - croquettes were very close to being burnt, scotch egg was quite bland and the sauce nondescript / lacking flavour. Service was good. All in all - a very "instagrammable" venue in a fabulous part of London - however the food is OK but nothing special

   We were looking forward to a fabulous night out but the food was very disappointing… my beef wellington was cold and tasteless, and the pastry was soggy. It was like it had stood for too long. 26th wedding anniversary celebration was one to forget sadly. We won’t be back.

   Cannot beat the ambience and location overlooking borough market and with views of St. Paul’s. The food and service were disappointing for the price.

   Great venue and amazing staff. The food was awful and tasted horrible. This place used to be so good and last two trips will be exactly that the last two. I’m never going back

   Overall, a rather underwhelming experience. The service has noticeably declined since my last visit. The sticky toffee pudding was particularly disappointing—overcooked, dry, and lacking any real flavour. While the lamb roast was well-cooked, the portion was small, with just two small slices. Roast potatoes had a nice crisp but were overly dry, likely left under the heat lamps too long. The standout elements were the gravy and mint sauce, which added some much-needed flavour to the plate. While the location and views remain impressive, they don’t quite justify the premium price. Honestly, you'd be better off saving some money and enjoying a solid meal at your local pub.

    Food was 8/10 very filling, could have been a bit more flavourful for that full 10/10 Unfortunately had to queue even though we had a reservation but once served service was good.
