   The only decent thing about this restaurant is the food and even that is SEVERELY over priced. I booked this for my partners birthday- we spent the whole time in shock at how bad the service was and how expensive it was. This is not mayfair- its Camden, the service was terrible and the ambience was bad. I would not recommend- do not waste your money here, we all want uptown Caribbean food but until there can be a reasonable option, dont fall for this

   We have been meaning to try Roger’s for some time and were not disappointed. The food is a cut above anything we have tasted before in similar restaurants, and the service and ambience is really welcoming and friendly. Everything was really tasty but I especially enjoyed the ribs starter and fruit cake dessert. Would highly recommend Roger’s to couples or groups as they seem to cater for all numbers. Top notch Caribbean food.

   The food was delicious and we had good portions sizes. All the staff are friendly and we even met Roger the owner. Thanks for the birthday cake 🎂 It was our first time and it definitely will not be our last.

   Roger’s has tasty Caribbean dishes that have been elevated to the next level. The food was delicious and beautifully presented. The staff were very friendly, providing a great service. Roger, himself was very professional when he came to our table, giving us the background to the dishes. Highly recommended.

   Four of us went for lunch, so we had a wide variety of dishes. All were of the highest quality, freshly cooked and cooked perfectly. Service was friendly and attentive. Altogether a terrific lunching experience.

   The Caribbean kitchen is fantastic. The way it's worked out at Roger's Kitchen is a little bit authentic but also in a European style. We all start with an Caribbean cocktail, the alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks were great! We were with four and have the Calamari and the Tempura of Sea Bass as starters. The starters were very tasteful, spicy and stimulate the attraction for the main cours. As main courses we had the Ackee and Avocado (2x), the Curry Goat and the Chargrilled Chicken. Also this courses were tasteful, a little bit spicy and good of portion. We ended with sharing the desserts (Sticky Toffee Pudding and Carrot Cake). The ambiance was great, a little bit more relaxing than in a European restaurant.

   Being of Caribbean ancestry I know what great authentic Caribbean cuisine is and this place delivers and then some. I dined with a born and raised American and he was as impressed as I was. My Saltfish fritters were perfect the dominant ingredient was incorporated immaculately into a dish that was full of gorgeous flavours yet light and the perfect way to begin our meal. My friend skipped a starter and went for the Jerk Chicken with a side of Roti. I ordered Curry Goat also with a side of Roti. We did not have to wait long post my starter, and the mains arrived in good time. When we began eating any conversation was paused as we were totally taken by the beautiful main dishes. This is the best Curry Goat I have ever eaten. Perfectly spiced not too hot at all yet maintained the integrity of the dish. This is just as well as I am sensitive to overly spiced food. Our Roti was cooked to perfection and as a Trinidadian by descent I was really impressed at how deliciously authentic it tasted, though I thought £6 for one was a bit pricey so it was just as well it was great. My friend absolutely loved his Jerk Chicken which he has enjoyed elsewhere but thought was exceptional this time round. The meat in my dish was so tender and contained no bones at all. A common complaint about Curry Goat is that it can be 'bony' I am happy to say not at Roger's Kitchen. I finished off my meal with a dessert, Caribbean Rum Cake with Rum & Raisin Ice Cream to round off what was a fantastic night in a lovely setting. The service was great, polite, genuine, warm, informative and efficient so I happily tipped my waiter in cash on top of the service charge. In conclusion I will say Roger's Kitchen is PRECISELY where 'sit down' Caribbean Restaurants need to be in the 21st Century. Our cuisine is as great as anyone's and deserves to be enjoyed by the world in superlative environments like this. Long live this place, I think I just might return again in just over a week. I love it!

    16/11/2024 Had an amazing experience at Rogers kitchen. The food was made with love, passion and from the heart. Carrabean flavours tasted amazing. Could have eaten 3 portions of the salt fish fritters..so tasty. Loved all 3 courses, from the jerk chicken in coconut curry sauce to the Jamaican fruit cake with rum and raisin ice cream, and not forgetting the seafood bisque stew with fluffy roti to suck up all the flavoursome sauce..it was all so deeelish and memorable. Roger is a real gent who takes the time to walk around and greet his customers, considering he's not only the owner, but the chef too. Had the pleasure of chatting to him and learning about his background.His wife Jo is so lovely too and was so happy that she explained the menu to us. The music brought back so many memories for me, old school reggae and some soul tunes suited the food and ambience of the restaurant. A fab experience and loved it all. I urge you to go and experience the true flavours of the carribean at Rogers kitchen. Thank you again.. X
