                                        Roma Cafe never disappoints. I’ve been here five times now and it is truly my favorite restaurant. We visit Portland 3-4 times a year and every time we come we always reserve a table here. Service is top notch. The food is absolutely the best as the pasta is made fresh everyday by the chef. The wine is impeccable and is always on point. I’m utterly surprised every time we visit Roma that we can actually get a table. This is a hidden gem but nonetheless the absolute best. I highly recommended!

                                        Super intimate, quiet, and amazing Italian dinner. The best chicken parm we've ever had, amazing short ribs with potatoes and carrots. We went here for my partner's birthday dinner as he loves Italian food. The restaurant was fast, accommodating, quiet, not overcrowded at all ,and beautifully decorated. Super low lighting but enough that you could still read the menu. I do wish the bread was complimentary, but it was reasonably priced for a bread basket for two at only a few dollars. We would go back again.

                                        I really loved the small intimate dining room. The music was peaceful and low. This was an excellent date night spot. The halibut was cooked perfectly and the carrot purée worth coming back for. The Roma Jam cocktail was delightful. We will definitely be back soon. What a gem!

                                        Service was great. All dinners were wonderful. Halibut was cooked just right and the lobster ravioli were dynamite.

                                        The Roma is the best place for an Italian meal for any occasion, special or otherwise. The ambience is perfect, a dining room in an old mansion, the food is outstanding, and the service is first rate. I would say it is one of the best, if not the best, overall dining experience for a romantic evening in Portland. There are other places that might be more recognized for their culinary offerings, but so many of them are loud with high ceilings, open kitchens, and awkward seating. The Roma is a perfect trifecta of a dining experience.

                                        The experience could not have been better! It was a snowy night so the crowd was reasonable, but the service, food, wine and ambiance were outstanding. I’ve traveled to many wonderful cities and have had the good fortune to eat many incredible meals, but this one was special! Ask for Matt.

                                        Friend and I went for a snow day dinner for 2 special, it was lovely! A bottle of house wine (choice of red or white), wonderful table bread, delicious winter salad, two perfect pastas, and the best cannoli’s I’ve ever had - all for $80! Quiet candle-lit ambiance with exceptional service as well. Will definitely be going back to Roma :)
