I camerieri italiani molto carini e capaci. Cibo mediocre, versione americana della cucina italiana. ristorante estremamente rumoroso

Entrando mi sono sentito catapultato nell’antica Roma, siamo stati accolti dal proprietario Nino un ragazzo gentilissimo che ci ha fatto sentire a casa trasmettendoci calore e professionalità. Dal mio tavolo osservavo la bellezza di questo locale, tanti i dettagli e nulla lasciato al caso. Nel menù presente la tipica cucina romana e visitando Roma posso dire che i piatti sono veramente originali e fatti con cura, finalmente la vera cucina Italiana a San Diego, io ho preso la carbonara e mia moglie i tonnarelli cacio e pepe , ottimo servizio ma soprattutto prezzi non molto alti per San Diego, lo consiglio vivamente.

Great food and friendly service. They were able to accommodate the birthday request for my hubby nicely with an awesome firework display over a yummy pumpkin cheesecake 🍰

My husband and I were in town for the holiday and had one last night before we headed home. I wanted to get some Authentic Italian so I found Roman Wolves and it had great reviews. We were greeted by the hostess and promptly seated for our 7:00 reservation. Our waiter came quickly and took our drink order, we also ordered the oysters. I had one of their signature cocktails and it was delicious. The oysters were ok, but this was on us. They were from the Gulf of Mexico and really big. We don't typically like the big oysters. We shared the caesar salad which was plenty for the two of us. For the main course I ordered the parmesan wheel special which was AMAZING! It was such a great presentation and the pasta was delicious! I will say my husband and I could have shared this as well but I am glad I ordered it solo! The flavor was to die for. My husband ordered the Branzini and he said it was very good, it came with roasted vegetables also. I would definitely go back to Roman Wolves, especially for the parmesan cheese special! YUMMY!

While my husband was parking his car, we met friends at the bar and started on drinks during Happy Hour. When we sat down, my husband left to order a drink at the bar to bring to the table and the bartender rudely got mad at him for not sitting at the bar. The carbonara arrived lukewarm, dry without any sauce, mostly noodles and barely any flavor. The artichoke ravioli had hardly any filling in it and tasted just like a wrapper, also arrived lukewarm. The artichoke appetizer, zucchini blossoms and caesar salad were all mediocre. Service was slow even though we were eating early. It was a disappointment since we were meeting our friends from out of town and wanted them to have a great San Diego meal.

Me and my two friends had dinner here last night. We made a reservation and got sat right away by Isabella, who was fabulous! We got greeted promptly by our server Salvatore. We were shortly met with a complimentary bowl of their specialty potato chips. Salvatore was energetic and very attentive! Drinks were well made, and the food was delivered quickly and the presentation was outstanding. We were greeted by other staff members throughout the restaurant. Special shoutout to Alex, Kyle, Dylan and Ryan for their outstanding hospitality and service. I highly recommend Roman Wolves, I will be returning, especially for the cheese wheel!
