I camerieri italiani molto carini e capaci. Cibo mediocre, versione americana della cucina italiana. ristorante estremamente rumoroso

Entrando mi sono sentito catapultato nell’antica Roma, siamo stati accolti dal proprietario Nino un ragazzo gentilissimo che ci ha fatto sentire a casa trasmettendoci calore e professionalità. Dal mio tavolo osservavo la bellezza di questo locale, tanti i dettagli e nulla lasciato al caso. Nel menù presente la tipica cucina romana e visitando Roma posso dire che i piatti sono veramente originali e fatti con cura, finalmente la vera cucina Italiana a San Diego, io ho preso la carbonara e mia moglie i tonnarelli cacio e pepe , ottimo servizio ma soprattutto prezzi non molto alti per San Diego, lo consiglio vivamente.

Overall the experience was not the best. While the service was okay, since I got there I felt off. The music was so loud I couldn’t hear my partner speak. I had to repeat myself to the waiter many times because of the music. After waiting till 11 pm to get out table since that’s all they had, that sat us right next to another couple basically sharing a table, me and my partner felt awkward to even speak to each other because we didn’t feel comfortable with the couple that was basically on top of each other looking at us every once and a while. The food was not bad it was not the best steak or pasta I ever tasted but it was okay for the price. We also expected that the dress code would be upheld yet people were coming inside with teeshirts on that had pictures of character, or shorts and a hoodie. And lastly my waiter had put a martini that the couple next to us ordered and it was embarrassing because she had to snatch the check from their side of the table to charge them and not charge us. Over the experience was a 2/5 we decided to take out food to go without even touching our plates, and we plan to go somewhere else and redo our Valentine’s Day dinner, thank you.

Don’t come here unless you’re white or don’t mind sitting all the way at the back of the restaurant. My boyfriend and I came for a Valentine’s Day dinner with a reservation at 5:30. Despite there being PLENTY of empty tables for two people at the main area of the restaurant, we were seated ALL the way in the back. It just so happened that all the 3 parties seated all the way at the back with NOBODY else were Mexican, black and Indian while everyone at the front/main area of the restaurant were white. Our server Ashlin as it says on our receipt as well as another young gentleman were both very attentive and kind but it is a shame that the white man at the host stand, which seemed to be a manager or supervisor of some sort specifically told the hostess to seat us at that table. It felt pretty uncomfortable and had us questioning why we were seated all the way in the back. Also, may I add that it seemed like that table was added there last minute as it was at an angle and had my boyfriend slipping back throughout the whole dinner. The white man knew about it as he told the hostess to sit us at the table that was “at an angle.” When we were done with our dinner there were still tables available at the front.

Great experience! We were not aware that the cheese wheel option would only be available for the chef special so we were a bit sad that we weren’t able to experience it. Overall great tasting food! VERY kind staff.

We had a great time at Roman Wolves! Enjoyed some delicious drinks alongside a charcuterie board. The pasta was fantastic, and the oxtail lasagna was a standout dish. Overall, a fun and flavorful experience!

There was a bachelorette party going on in the room we were seated in. It was uncomfortably loud at times. I didn’t love the ambiance. The food and service were very good. The waiter provided an ice pack at my request to place on a knee I injured on my way to the restaurant . We’ll return, but only to sit and eat at the bar.
