Overall good, just overpriced for the amount of food. You're definitely paying for the experience more than the quality of food

Love Ron of Japan. I’ve been going there since I was a little girl. However this experience was not the greatest. Our server lacked in customer service and messed up our order despite clarifying multiple times. The chef was amazing thankfully. As someone who works in customer service and restaurants before I always make sure to take care of my servers very well. However I truly was not happy with the service we received this time especially since the order was not put in correctly despite checking multiple times. So after taking care of the chef seperately who was amazing, I gave what I felt appropriate to the server based on the service she gave us. She then with attitude asked for more and lied saying there was a minimum tip. Minimum tips are supposed to be preadded to the check. There is no minimum tip on a party of 2 and to straight up say it like that and with an attitude is unacceptable in customer service. Will have to reconsider this being my favorite restaurant.

I’m sorry to say it’s been a while since I’ve been. I’m happy to say that last night’s dinner was fantastic!!! We will be back super soon!!!!

Fun way to celebrate my partner’s birthday. The service was so so, the food was great except for the filet that was over cooked.

The food was excellent as always. We have been going there for over 20 years and have never been disappointed. We did have a new chef, Alexander, who is very polite and did a wonderful job preparing our meal.

We came here for my husband‘s birthday and when you walk in the scenery is beautiful. It takes you to Japan and that was nice. Unfortunately, our cook we had was inexperienced with cooking shellfish and seafood. We paid $80 for our plate for lobster tail and a filet mignon. The lobster tail was overcooked completely very rubbery and bland no flavor whatsoever. I actually requested salt and pepper. I also ordered scallops which were also overcooked and rubbery. Other people at our table ordered shrimp, sea bass, and another kind of fish and I can tell it was all over cooked. Hopefully they train their cooks better, because it’s pretty unfortunate to spend a pretty penny on food that is not cooked right. I do regret not saying anything to anybody. We did enjoy our steak, veggies, and fried rice.
