North Carolina chef and restaurateur, Jim Noble founded Rooster’s: A Noble Grille with the intention of being relevant without being trendy and to impress without being pretentious. That commitment has carried us through two decades and continues to lead us on today.

Knowing that simple food is harder to execute given there is nowhere to hide the flaws, we go to great lengths to source quality ingredients from local farmers and purveyors. We then take all the time necessary to develop their flavors —using both European and modern techniques—always working from scratch.

Our menu features tried and true staples like our spit­-roasted chicken cooked over open fire as well as progressive daily​ specials and elevated Small Plates featuring Executive Chef Brad Pennell. At Rooster’s, you’ll always find something new served with an honest commitment and consistently warm care.

    Food was great, although a bit pricey. Just a very loud place. It would be much more enjoyable if it were quieter.

    The surface and the food was outstanding. It’s a little bit loud, but other than that the dinner was wonderful.

    We have been to Rooster's for lunch often. This is the first time parking was a real problem. I'm told it is because the bakery next door brings in so much additional traffic. Our server was very good today, as was the food. My main complaint is that one of my friends wanted to substitute the side dishes. It cost her $6 to get mac & cheese instead of potatoes and collards instead of spinach. I don't understand charging for substituted sides of equal value, seems like a lot of nickel 'n diming going on.

    We love roosters, the food and service are always great. The environment is a little harsh with concrete floor and dark walls. These make for a lighting environment that is harsh and a tinny sound environment.

    Always a super experience at Rooster’s. The food is 5 steps above every other restaurant out there. They use quality ingredients, season everything to perfection, and you can tell the chef truly cares about the food. The wait staff are always friendly and know the menu like the back of their hand.

    Always a great meal and friendly staff. The bar is a fun spot to sit if no tables available.

    Second visit here and it did not disappoint. Scallops were delicious. My brother got the pizza and he loved it. My son got the filet- pricey but good. We weren’t fans of the patio chairs we were sitting on (inside!) - but we shared a delicious meal and plan on going back!

    We enjoyed our meal. Husband raved about his hamburger. Not many people consider getting a burger at such a nice place but that is his go to because as he says if you want a great burger get it from a high end restaurant.
