Great dinner especially for Valentine's weekend. Food was excellent. Fried oysters and Brussel sprouts were amazing. Chicken and potatoes augratin were so good. Expensive but great. It's just so noisy in there and the 2 top was small. Next time we would rather sit at the chef's table by where the food is prepared. Anthony was an amazing server. Attentive and informative. Will come back for special occasions for sure. Already have Easter reservations.

The service, wine and beer selection and entrees and sides we chose were outstanding. The dinner menu is more extensive than the late afternoon menu. Best bet is to wait for dinner menu. Our party had a great time !

We visited Roosters for late lunch and were delighted by the brunch menu. The selections were of great quality. The ambiance was pleasant. Our server, Jacob, was exceptional. He provided attentive service and was consistently punctual. We definitely will return for the evening menu.

When we first got there and were seated, we waited 25 minutes for a server. I finally got up and asked for a manager. We finally got a server to our table. The food was good, not great. The manager did come over and apologize and we got our dessert for free. But first impressions are always the most important and the initial 25 minute wait kind of messed up the rest of the meal.

Every time we eat at Roosters, everything about our experience is perfect, except that the food is ALWAYS COLD. We continue to go back because the food is always cooked perfectly and the dishes are interesting and delicious. But COLD. The service is outstanding, so we don’t want to bring it up with the servers. We don’t want them to fuss over us or think it is their fault. It isn’t their fault. They are bringing us our food in a timely manner. The air temperature in the restaurant is freezing cold (I always bring layers-it’s very cold because there is a side door that opens to the dining room where customers constantly exit the restaurant right next to tables where we are eating.) Also the plates are not the kind that hold heat, and (worse) the plates are not pre-heated before the food is plated! We are really hoping management does something about this, as we eat here multiple times/month. Surely we can’t be the only ones who are having this experience. My hanger steak arrives at the table lukewarm (never, ever hot), and halfway through my meal, I stop eating because it has gone from lukewarm to outright cold.

We have previously dined at other Roosters locations in Charlotte, but this was our first time at this new Ballantyne location. The food was very good as we expected based on our visits to other Roosters locations. The atmosphere is nice - modern, open, clean. We were there for Valentine's Day lunch on a Friday - I'm glad we made reservations because almost every table was filled (it was more crowded than I was expecting for lunch time). That being said, there was enough space between tables that we did not feel crowded or cramped; there was some energetic noise but it wasn't too loud (we could easily hear each other talking at our table). The service was friendly and good, although it was slightly slower than expected which I can understand based on the large crowd of people who entered shortly after we arrived (the waitress was busy!). I would recommend it and will be back again in the future - I'm glad Roosters now has a Ballantyne location much closer to my home and that it's as good as I hoped it would be!

Overall it was a pleasant experience, but we did have to wait a significant amount of time to be seated for our reservation. I understand things can happen but it would’ve been nice if they could’ve communicated better with us on the delay and provided us with a more realistic timeframe to set expectations, but waiting 30 minutes for a reservation was a lot…

We always have an exceptional meal and service at Roosters. The prices reflect the high quality of the food. Kelly was our server last night and was phenomenal. It was very busy but she never missed a beat. The restaurant itself has a good vibe and Shawna at the host stand is warm, friendly and inviting!
