A Consumption Revolution in Uptown, Charlotte. Rooster's Wood Fired Kitchen, A Jim Noble Restaurant, will redefine dining out. A food and wine bar featuring an a la carte menu of comfortable Spanish, French and Italian influenced selections prepared on a wood fired grill, rotisserie and imported Italian oven. Rooster's is high quality and affordable casual cuisine combined with a local Southern boy's culinary impartations. The open kitchen centered in the dining room allows the guest to view the crafting of cuisine while dining at the kitchen's antique granite countertop on a hand crafted pub bar stool. Finishes of Leather, antique stone, beautiful crafted woodwork and wrought iron parallels the artisan architecture and design with artisan, hand crafted styled cuisine.

Always a great meal. The waiter accidentally mis-ordered one of our meals and immediately recognized and corrected it. The manager also apologized. Wasn’t a big deal. That dish was great also. Per usual everyone had a great time.

The food was okay. Nothing special and kind of bland, and there wasn’t salt/pepper on the table (isn’t that standard?). One of our meals didn’t seem like the right thing, but nobody came by to check. It’s a shame because the place has a cool look and good location.

Everything was absolutely beautiful and delicious that they brought us. The place smells amazing when you walk in with a cozy rustic feel to dine in. Great to dine in after seeing Hamilton at the Belk theatre.

We had a great experience. Even though the restaurant was full the staff got us in and out in time to see our show. To account for the slightly long we were give a lovely platter of pimento cheese and fruit as well as extra bread. My family and I were pleased with everything.

We typically go to dinner at Rooster’s prior to a Bluementhal show. The experience is mostly always good, with the exception of a couple of hiccups. Hiccups are usually addressed by management, so we continue to support. I would recommend Rooster’s for the good food, convenience and ambience.

We always enjoy dining at Rooster's. Our server Carlee was outstanding. We are vegetarians and she was extremely helpful in telling us about all the vegetarian options. We are very grateful for her kindness and excellent service. Carlee is an exceptional representative for Rooster's.

Overall, the food was tasty, and the service was good. We liked the ambiance of the restaurant, except they seated us outside in the atrium of the office building by ourselves for the first hour when there appeared to be available tables inside (and we had a reservation). So it was colder, no ambiance, and more isolated. The waiter didn't even realize we were out there for a bit. The biggest concern was that much of the food seemed incredibly expensive for what you get. Entrees were a la carte and seemed overpriced in this context. The sides were pretty expensive especially when not big enough to be considered shareable. We're used to a la carte restaurants like Morton's, so it's not that the format is unfamiliar. We were surprised that a menu that included burgers and pizza would also have very expensive a la carte dishes.
