A Consumption Revolution in Uptown, Charlotte. Rooster's Wood Fired Kitchen, A Jim Noble Restaurant, will redefine dining out. A food and wine bar featuring an a la carte menu of comfortable Spanish, French and Italian influenced selections prepared on a wood fired grill, rotisserie and imported Italian oven. Rooster's is high quality and affordable casual cuisine combined with a local Southern boy's culinary impartations. The open kitchen centered in the dining room allows the guest to view the crafting of cuisine while dining at the kitchen's antique granite countertop on a hand crafted pub bar stool. Finishes of Leather, antique stone, beautiful crafted woodwork and wrought iron parallels the artisan architecture and design with artisan, hand crafted styled cuisine.

    Seared scallops and grilled salmon were our entrees; great flavor and cooked perfectly with a hint of wood smoke. Nate was an outstanding server who made sure we were assisted well, provided suggestion on our request, and made sure our evening was off to a great start! Hope to dine there again on another foray into the Uptown!

    The place is very well located, just one block from the Spectrum Center, perfect for eating before or after the game. I found the space to be very interesting and beautiful, with impeccable and unique service. The kitchen is open to the public and right in the center of the restaurant, which allows you to have some entertainment while you eat. We ordered two meat dishes that were delicious. We went with our baby sleeping in the stroller and they were very kind to help us get to the building's elevator (which is a bit of a maze, by the way) so we could get to the restaurant floor.

    We were seated quickly and our server arrived quickly as well. He was friendly and our order was accurate and delicious!

    My sister-in-law and I had dinner before a show at Blumenthal. We both had grilled salmon and shared carrots and maple acorn squash. It was superb! Chocolate tart with butter pecan Gelato was shared for dessert and was outstanding. Our waiter, Nate, was attestation, informative, and made our dining experience a perfect one. We will return!

    Service was excellent. Well appointed but very loud. Food quality was good but portions small particularly for the price.
