Root Down and the Edible Beats Family (Root Down, Linger, Vital Root & El Five) are very grateful to welcome you to our restaurant.

Our menu features eclectic, globally-influenced seasonal cuisine, with a focus on organic, natural and locally-sourced ingredients.

Our interior dining space has the classic vibe of a neighborhood restaurant, while our large main patio offers picturesque views of the near neighborhood and downtown skyline.

Reservations are available online at ediblebeats.com, as well as OpenTable. We happily accept walk-ins as availability allows.

Our space is available for private events year round, please inquire with us directly for information.

Please be aware we are located in a residential area, and parking is available in the near neighborhood, along with a small paid-lot located directly across the street from our location.

    Food was delicious with very original recipes!!! Cocktails were great too and service was super friendly! We will be back!

    Second Visit. It's Denver Restaurant Week for our four (4) party. First time sitting in the dining room and the cushion booth side is the best location. Menu selections were outstanding, as we sampled four different courses throughout dinner. The dapper wine steward was knowledgeable and friendly - resulting in two bottles of his selected Red. Our assigned server, Raye, made our dining experience outstanding with her knowledge and shared youthful energy.

    Wonderful service . Restaurant Week menu offered several options off their regular menu as well as special entree . Good value as portions were not reduced on prix fixe menu. Haven’t dined at Root Down for awhile but will be sure to come back. Only down side is parking in the neighborhood but be patient and something will open up .PS.Leave room for coffee and dessert!

    Fantastic food! Lots of tasty and diverse options on the menu. Very vegetarian-friendly. Highly recommend

    Lamb Sliders and Banana Pie were outstanding. Be prepared for crowded noisy atmosphere. The service was spot on. Excellent restaurant

    Went for Resturant week. Good selections, everything was delicious and some interesting flavors. Service also excellent.

    Great for gluten free dining and delicious! You can’t go wrong with anything in the menu! The drinks were perfectly mixed. Out host was a kick, waitstaff outstanding, and food was off the charts.

    I took the team here for a fun dinner and everything was great! Al was our server and he was spot on with recommendations and attentive to everything we needed.
