Rosa Madre is the most authentic Italian restaurant in Dublin. We are located in the heart of Dublin, one of the most exciting and vibrant areas of Dublin with great shops, bars and many five stars hotels.

We specialize in fresh fish, delivered daily by local suppliers and we guarantee to always have the finest quality available. Our seafood cuisine is characterized by the simple quality of the catch. We place our orders during the night, directly from the port where the fish is delivered to ensure we always get the freshest product available.

Siamo stati due volte: la prima volta si è mangiato bene e la mia recensione è stata positiva. La seconda cena invece è stata deludente come sapore dei piatti, ed uso della materia prima (scarsa opp di bassa qualità) considerando il costo elevato. La capacità dello chef è basica: nessun estro nei piatti. Pesce fresco. La struttura va decisamente rinnovata: si sentiva cattivo odore di umidità e muffa. E la moquette in un ristorante non si può proprio vedere: dá un senso di sporco, oltre al fatto che sembrava non pulita e tenuta bene.

Il cibo è veramente buono , vera cucina italiana ! Vasta scelta di ottimo vini, ma il location è piuttosto bruttino , trascurato non in linea con il prezzo della cena . camerieri gentili..

We were in Temple Bar and the wife wanted Italian. It was pretty early so was able to get a reservation. We were quickly seated and given the wine list and menus. They had some wonderful amarones and with the waitresses help we selected the 2019 Speri Sant Urbano. It was lovely. We had the oysters, grilled octopus, ravioli tartufo, and spaghetti with clams. And tiramisu for dinner. All was wonderful. Tasty, timely. Wine at the right temp. All around just what we wanted. Highly recommended.

Rosa Madre was the meal highlight of my 7 day trip to Dublin. The food is WONDERFUL. But the focaccia bread was top tier!! The owner's wife makes it daily. There are limited quanities of it so try to arrive early. We went for a work group dinner in 2024. I returned in March 2025 with my sister because the resturant was so nice. I especially was looking for the bread but because we had an 8pm reservation that were out. The owner Luca saw we were disapointed and offered to save bread for us the next day even though I wouldn't be able to arrive until 9 pm. As promoised the next day we arrived at 9:10 pm and Luca told us to wait 10 to 15 mins while they cooked the bread for us. It was simply delicious. I took 3 friends that night and they all said it was the best food that they had in Dublin. The ambience, food, cocktails and service all TOP TIER. I highly recommend to Americans or anyone visiting Dublin.

A friend recommended this restaurant and it was so amazing. The crab pasta and ravioli were both incredible.
