Comfortable casual and drenched in Southern charm, the Rose Villa combines its polished easygoing atmosphere with Southern cuisine, classic craft cocktails and an ample selection of Wines. Enjoy Chef Sylvia Kerry Herrera's signature Southern Fried Chicken or her award winning Shrimp and Grits. Each guest that walks through our doors is sure to have a story to tell. Built in in late 1800's Rose Villa was established as a boutique hotel and bed and breakfast in 1901.
The Gazebo is open for cocktails, lunch and dinner during the temperate months. With a relaxing fountain and abundant florals, the Gazebo and back porch seating is a great place to enjoy the Rose Villa. Dogs Welcome!
Upstairs is the Southern Speakeasy, "Whiskey at the Rose" and is making quite a stir among Bourbon aficionados with an array of high end Bourbons. Chef Sylvia has also gotten in on the action offering small plate appetizers and food tastings designed around whiskey and Bourbon during special events.

the food was fabulous, the lemon lentil soup was the best and the lemon cake desert was to die for. I found the bathroom a bit odd, with 2 toilets and no doors on them. We had a great waitress too. She was a young Russian with a sweet temperament but definitely on the ball. Very efficient.

First time here! I was a little Concerned we booked the gazebo and were asked If we would move to the porch. I was very pleasantly surprised. The food was excellent!!! The server was fantastic! A little proud of their wine list but forgivable. Very good choice in a house built in 1898 with a tone of history to it!

Stopped here for lunch. Many choices for a very affordable lunch. Food was well prepared and tasty. Love the southern influences. Would definitely come again.

We had a wonderful experience! The food and the drinks were great. Our server Colin was excellent as well as the bartender Patrick at the upstairs speakeasy. We most definitely will be back next time we are visiting.

Our experience overall was very good, and two out of three of us had excellent dinners. However, I ordered the signature dish - fried chicken - and was very surprised and disappointed. It would not be too much of an exaggeration to say that I had nearly as much breading as I did chicken, and probably as a result, three of the four pieces were also overcooked. The host stopped by our table following the meal to check on us, and said she would convey my thoughts to the chef which, again, shows excellent service. I am a long time chicken lover, and I hope they get this resolved.
