Comfortable casual and drenched in Southern charm, the Rose Villa combines its polished easygoing atmosphere with Southern cuisine, classic craft cocktails and an ample selection of Wines. Enjoy Chef Sylvia Kerry Herrera's signature Southern Fried Chicken or her award winning Shrimp and Grits. Each guest that walks through our doors is sure to have a story to tell. Built in in late 1800's Rose Villa was established as a boutique hotel and bed and breakfast in 1901.
The Gazebo is open for cocktails, lunch and dinner during the temperate months. With a relaxing fountain and abundant florals, the Gazebo and back porch seating is a great place to enjoy the Rose Villa. Dogs Welcome!
Upstairs is the Southern Speakeasy, "Whiskey at the Rose" and is making quite a stir among Bourbon aficionados with an array of high end Bourbons. Chef Sylvia has also gotten in on the action offering small plate appetizers and food tastings designed around whiskey and Bourbon during special events.

First time here. Easy reservations online at Open Table. Valet parking a plus. Seated immediately and enjoyed an excellent dinner! Good menu including specials; very attentive waitperson Emma covered all our needs. we shall go again for sure!

Our server Emma was amazing and very attentive. The food was cooked to perfection and we both had the specials, Lamb chops & flounder specials! Both were amazing!

Had dinner for 6 of us. First time there for my husband and I. Food was great with large portions and lots of yummy leftover’s!

Our waitress Lindsey was very conscientious and ensured we had everything we needed. We appreciated how she timed the food delivery to the table. The food was excellent, our favorites were the soft crab shell soup, the green tomato lobster appetizer, the mac and cheese, the potato skillet. The ambience was just delightful!! Felt like we were living in yesteryear. Will definitely come back for dinner another time!!!

Rose Villa and our server Lindsay made our anniversary exceptional. From the Fried Green Tomato and Lobster appetizer to the Sea Bass with Crab and lobster Risotto, each course was perfectly prepared and delicious. I love the decor of this old Victorian. I preferred the mellow guitar music from the patio to the canned music, more romantic. This is a great Special Occasion restaurant!!

The dining room was unusually noise today with a birthday party. Very difficult to talk. Aside from that our party enjoy the experience.

Food is outstanding, epically the fried chicken. The setting is in an old house with many rooms with lots of atmosphere. Service is great. Highly recommended

The early dinner menu is superb !!! My wife got the filet mignon and it was cooked to perfection served with mashed potatoes and asparagus. Soup and salad come with it along with delicious biscuits! I got the Southern Fried Chicken which was also excellent served with mashed potatoes gravy and collard greens. Each entree was only $20 !!!! Amazingly delicious. Excellent service can’t wait to return.
