The restaurant was lovely and had a great vibe when we walked in. We were given a beautiful table in an alcove, which made it easy for us to talk. We are older and still like to speak to each other. We do not like noisy places. The server introduced herself and took our drink orders. After that, we hardly saw her. We ordered two pasta dishes and split a salad. The portion was so enormous as to be obscene. Even if I were not taking a weight loss drug that decreases my appetite, I would not have been able even to eat half of my dish. My date, who is not taking such a drug and has a healthy appetite, could not finish his dis. We were going to the theatre, so we did not want to take leftovers. I wish that restaurants could offer half portions. I understand that in this post-Covid world, costs have gone up. Would I go back here? Maybe, but I would split any entre I ordered.

I have always enjoyed Rosebud Rosetta Italian restaurant's energy. The food is delicious and there is a lot of it for a decent price. The waitress was very thoughtful and friendly, always stopping by asking if we needed anything.

From booking a weekend in Chicago to enjoy the Christmas lights, we booked up this sweet charm of a restaurant. Our waitress was absolutely amazing with personal recommendations and a great personality to make our meal enjoyable. The meal itself was well prepared with proper amount of balance from The sauce to the cheese. I actually enjoyed a piece of veal that was quite delicious with a great brown sauce. The bottle of Vino was delicious as it was a Prisoner vineyard (unshackled) from California.

When we arrived a very high noise level and a poor table by the server door. Not very good ambiance. Food however was excellent and Waiter worked to make a dish not marked gluten-free gluten-free for me. Waiter was attentive and sound level did tone down by the end of the meal.

Rosebud was the perfect after theatre dinner spot. Our Server, Katie, was attentive and took very good care of us. Great atmosphere and service !

Our first time back since reopening as Rosebud Rosetta Italian. Food is pretty much up to standard. Enjoyed the breaded eggplant diced into a salad, lamb chop lollipops, and sea bass special of the evening. Had cocktails and glass of wine. The service is somewhat erratic with repeated reminders given to waiter and aggressive, clumsy bus staff clearing tables. I'd suggest the older-school Chicago steakhouse vibe has changed to a more energetic and younger crowd (playing to theater crowd vs. business folks)? Music is more clubby and restaurant was showing UFC event on the bar TV. We would return, but it won't be on our preferred list of restaurants as we enjoyed the previous Rosebud Prime atmosphere more.

Excellent meal and top notch service. Yummy cocktail and wine, Caesar salad so very delicious. Highly recommend.
