Rosebud Steakhouse prides itself in creating a true Chicago steakhouse experience for all of its guests. We offer superior quality, dry and wet aged cuts that are locally sourced by Linz Heritage Angus Beef. Visit our original location on Chicago's Magnificent Mile, our Indiana location in Munster, and soon, our first restaurant in Texas located in Southlake, Tx.

Rosebud Steakhouse in Wheeling IS NOT part of the Rosebud Restaurant Group, consequently we do not honor Rosebud Gift Card (similar to the ones from COSTCO). We are part of the CHC RESTAURANT group, and our Gift Cards can be used at any of our restaurants, including Rosebud Steakhouse on Magnificent Mile, Rosebud Steakhouse in Centennial Village, Coppolillo's Italian Steakhouse in both Libertyville, IL and Crown Point, IN, and soon to come, Windy City Social in Munster, and Rosebud Steakhouse in Dallas, TX. Disappointed on our anniversary The person who designed the layout for this restaurant should be fired. First, the restaurant opens into the dining room, so you need to walk through the restaurant in order to get to the bar. This also means that there are two tables that are basically touching the hostess stand and we got one of those. If they ask “do you want a booth?” say “NO!” Our table faced a black wall and was in such a weird place that our server told us he “didn’t notice us” sitting there and we didn’t place a drink order for 20 minutes. The menu is only one page and that means there are no descriptions about how anything is prepared. We had an issue where we tried to order something healthy, brussel sprouts, but they came covered in cream sauce and topped with cheese and bacon. They serve off of tray stands which probably isn't a big deal but its something that fine dining restaurants shouldn't do. They didn't ask if we were celebrating anything, we were. They didn't ask about dietary restrictions despite the tiny menu. The had two managers walking around but didn't come to us except when I mentioned that a receipt had fallen on our table. If you are going to spend $300 a couple, you need a better experience than this.

So nice to have a place nearby that has quality food and service. Our waitress Minley was terrific. The brick chicken was outstanding as were the lamb chops. We will definitely be back!

Very expensive. Steak was tough. Took a long time to get a glass of wine. Service was not great. It was not busy. Wouldn’t go back!

This restaurant was great. Only complaint is that they nickel and dime you for sodas, side dishes, accompaniments- their pricing is high, but the quality is good.

Our food was delicious but quite pricey. We will probably go again but only for a special occasion because of the cost.

The quality and quantity of food here is outstanding! Oh my gosh I never tasted such a perfectly prepared, juicy skirt steak in all my life, and I’ve eaten at a lot of steakhouses around the country. My husband had the lamb chop and felt the same. We ordered a chopped salad to split before the meal and then split two sides with the meal, the steak mashed potatoes and the crispy Brussels sprouts. They were both so tasty I stuffed myself but still had plenty left over to take home. We went on NY Eve so I expected slow service, but the food was so darn delicious it was worth the wait. I recommend for two people getting the chopped salad to split and two sides to split along with your separate entrees. It was perfect. Appetizers might have spoiled my appetite. Yum!! Highly recommend.
