Fresh and exciting new bar and restaurant in Ocean Gate, NJ, right in the heart of Ocean County with water views of the beach, boardwalk and Toms River. We are bringing an elevated dining experience with a beautifully decorated coastal themed space, a great menu composed of the finest ingredients and hand crafted cocktails, a great wine list and expansive beer selection. Ask about the selection of dining areas including main dining room, private party room, semi private second floor dining room, outdoor second floor deck seating and the fun and hip bar/lounge area.     The worst steak I have ever eaten. A pile of fat. Otherwise a very nice restaurant. Very good service. Great ambiance. But, you go to a restaurant to eat!

    Even on a busy holiday, Rosie’s never disappoints from the service to the food …great place for any occasion

    It’s very hard to judge a restaurant on a holiday. Meals are prepared before hand. Owners are trying to make money on this day. As a business owner I get it. However, parking was difficult especially when someone in your party is handicapped. The entrance was packed with people making it difficult to get in to talk to the hostess about our reservation. It was also difficult to leave with all the people at the door. Our waiter just basically served the food. He never offered pepper on a Caesar salad, never asked if we needed anything else, just unattentive, but busy delivering meals. The restaurant has gotten amazing reviews and I’d like try it again on a day that is not a holiday.

    THANKSGIVING DINNER. We skipped the Thanksgiving turkey scene and I ordered halibut and a huge Caesar salad, my wife had pasta Primavera. We split our chocolate molten cake with vanilla ice cream for dessert and had a cappuccino. We always take our own tiny umbrellas to put in our mixed drinks before a meal and I had a great Napa Cabernet Savignon with my halibut.  Thanksgiving day is a great challenge for the kitchen and they delivered well. The wait staff was perfect in spite of a jampacked restaurant.

    The staff is wonderful, nice service and tasty meal. They let us linger and take our time, which was refreshing since most restaurants rush you out. Thanksgiving meal was a set menu with a few options, really nice

    We had a nice dinner at Rosie’s - the family was happy with everything and apparently it’s the place to celebrate birthdays. There were five birthdays throughout the evening.

    Very comfortable, albeit noisy, ambience. The menu is limited but the kitchen is good. The 7-oz filet was rare as requested, but surprisingly fatty. Service is friendly and efficient.

    Rosie’s never disappoints. Our table of 6 each ordered something different and were all satisfied with our entrees.

    Second time we had dinner at Rosie’s in three weeks it is now are go to from the chill bar seen to the main dining room which is very inviting you get what you pay for beautiful place great service great atmosphere no brainer
