Rosine's Restaurant turns traditional American comfort food into an art form. This local family-owned and operated casual dining restaurant has been open for 43+ years. The Culcasi family, owners of Rosine's, have received a bit of national fame as it has appeared on Guy Fieri's show "Diners, Drive-ins and Dives". Rosine's offers indoor and outdoor (pet friendly) dining serving breakfast, lunch, dinner and weekend brunch, beer wine and signature craft cocktails. Breakfast offers include Eggs Benedicts, Omelets and a variety of other breakfast specialities. As for lunch and dinner, there is a mix of American and Italian dishes. Some of the most popular dishes on the menu include their Beef Minestrone soup, Chicken Parmesan and Lasagna. Scrumptious sandwiches, fresh salads and burgers are also elevated. Rosine’s was exceptional. The food was absolutely delicious. I had the chicken picata, hubby had minestrone soup and lasagne. And we had to try some dessert, chocolate chip cheesecake, even though we took most of it home! Service was outstanding. (I was a little disappointed that there was no recognition of our anniversary, even though I noted on my reservation that we were celebrating that event). We will definitely go back to Rosine’s.

Wow the entire evening was GREAT, food was perfect all 5 meals + DESSERT! The pies and cakes are the best, we all will be back next time in Monterey. Thank you to all of Rosine’s staff

Excellent service. Our waiter was attentive. The steak was wonderfully prepared. The desserts are big enough for two to share.

Greeted with a warm welcome, our server was helpful and courteous all visit but the food was so delicious. Oh yeah I highly recommend a slice of cake or pie.

We had our two toddlers, they ate the Mac and cheese and some fries. Fries were good. Mac and cheese was basic. The adults in my group had the angel hair pasta and a medium New York steak that was very basic as well. The rosine New York with mushrooms included mashed potatoes. The potatoes had cheese that was not melted in. Not sure if that was on purpose. The mushrooms we added were very salty. The steak had a low quality taste. Fettuccini Alfredo was good along with the Caesar salad. Service overall was good. Staff was attentive and accommodating. The ambiance was okay. Noticed significant amount of flies and bugs, probably just due to open doors and windows. It’s a one and done for us. Wouldn’t come back.
