ROTI Indian Bistro marries casual, contemporary styling to classic Indian cuisine. The chefs take diners on a culinary tour of India, offering a taste of the North in the Tandoori meat dishes and hints of the South in the vegetarian curries. Fresh breads are available from the tandoor, a mesquite- fired clay oven unique to Indian cooking. Traditional freshly house roasted Indian spices to create a diverse fresh, menu. ROTI prides itself on the dining experience - at this popular new addition to the vibrant West Portal neighborhood, refined customer service from the attentive staff and fabulous food have established a higher standard of dining for the area.

Best Indian restaurant in SF. Incredible food, just like in Bombay. The pooris with channa masala is fantastic. I have tried most of their dishes and found each one outstanding.

This is the best Indian food I have ever experienced. I am a New Yorker who also lived in So Cal, had lots of dining experiences, but Roti consistently excels. Try and go every week Friendly staff and mgmt.

I have been going to Roti for years, and had not been there in some time, it definitely has changed - I ordered the tandoori plate and it was not all tandori I was very disappointed in that dish for $31.00; especially it wa not tandoori chicken and I expected chunks of lamb but it was lamb I think roll with spices, all the portions have definitely been reduced and prices raised. It was good but not the best. They used to serve chai tea free, now they charge $5.00/cup!
