Superb food, excellent, friendly service and convivial ambience in the revamped Rowleys! The steak is perfectly prepared to all requirements and the care and attention that goes into prepping the frites lifts the humble chip into gourmet-land. Thank you!

An outstanding experience as always, Rowley's is a real gem of London. I don't know what they're putting in that butter sauce it's bloody brilliant! Always love going there and will be back again soon

We ordered and they forgot to put our order through or even stop to think about our empty plates for 1 hour or so. We had to point it out.

Rowleys was... fine. The food was OK (the whipped goat's cheese starter was excellent, and my partner's bavette looked pretty good, but my lemon sole was underwhelming) and we thought the service was nice - a little under-rehearsed but very willing. However, the bill was a bit eye-watering when it arrived. £180 odd for two and a half courses, two (apparently complementary) glasses of fizz and two glasses of mediocre wine? We were there just before 6.30, which was a good thing as it started filling up at 7-7.15 and the noise levels were off the scale.
As I say, it was fine. But I'm not sure I'd go again.

Wonderful as ever! Beautiful restaurant with fantastic food - the steak was amazing. Good choice of first courses and good wine selection. Rowley's never disappoints - it's one of our favourite restaurants!
