   Our table had the Rue Experience Tasting menu and it is worthy of a Michelin star. We have eaten at many Michelin restaurants throughout the world and our experience at Rue Saint Marc was incredible. Upon entry to the restaurant, we were warmly greeted by Joe who escorted us to our table. Our server Megan was attentive but not intrusive. Each course was beautifully presented with interesting flavors. The timing of serving each course was also excellent. The wine list is well chosen with an excellent selection. Gabrielle ensures that the dining room runs smoothly. The Rue Experience is good value compared to a tasting menu at a Paris Michelin restaurant and we cannot wait to return. It is about time Michelin recognizes this restaurant as Chef Scott Alters is a very talented, passionate chef. Bravo!

   Rue St. Marc provides an exceptional dining experience with Michelin star quality dishes but thankfully in a casual environment with an affordable menu. We are blessed to have this gem in Jacksonville with plates that rival the best restaurants in dining destinations like NYC. On our 5th visit since moving to Amelia Island we started with the stunning oysters and worked our way through a selection of great appetizers from Mayport shrimp to a steamed lobster to a brilliant tagliatelle. The wine selection, curated by the owner, includes hard to fine vintages and wonderful wines by the glass. Truly a wonderful experience from start to finish.

   If you visit, you must ask for Aaron. He is the best server we’ve had and we request him every time.

   The atmosphere and service was great and everyone was very nice and helpful. Drinks were good as was the food, my fish was cooked perfectly but a little fishy and my husband had had steak which was good but serving size was extremely small for the price.

   We have lived in the San Marco area for a while now and finally found our way to Rue Saint-Marc with friends for dinner last night. It exceeded expectations in food quality, service and ambiance. Everything we ate was meticulously plated and we all ate every last crumb on our plates. The service was slightly slow, but when you watch the staff in the open kitchen, you can see how hard they work to prepare every dish with care and pride. It is a wonderful spot and we cannot wait for an occasion to return.

   Good ambiance. Place too cold with strong draft hitting our table. My Black Seabass was bland with no seasoning nor sauce, and it took 45 minutes to be served to our table. $9 for 4 small unremarkable bread muffins is abusive. The butter was very good and served at the right temperature, however. The Foie Gras was excellent as an appetizer. The pasta and the roasting chicken were not to be writing about. Slow kitchen with food arriving somewhat warm but not hot as it should have been, probably on account of the cold air conditioning and the open kitchen setup. The expresso was awesomely strong and nice. Service was joyful and adequate

    Incredible!! Forgive me for not knowing the exact details of each item… but let’s start from the beginning…service is always important and the team at Rue Saint Marc is always outstanding!! Thank you for all your attention to detail and making each moment special! The starters: I can never make my mind! Because everything is fresh and seasonal, I need to get a taste of it all. But hands-down, always the best oysters! Tonight’s were the appetizer portion with the ponzu and they were delicious!! Perfectly paired with some rose bubbles. Next, we dove straight into the lamb sausage…wowza! The flavors were out of this world. We paired this with a recommendation from Gabby, Barbaresco! A it brought all the flavors together. We then went to the spring risotto! Seriously? This dish was designed with morels, spring peas, asparagus… and we chose a white burgundy to accompany it; again, perfection!!!! And to follow this with homemade agnolotti pasta & the barbaresco was a whole ‘nother level. To have these dishes, prepared perfectly with the freshest ingredients is truly appreciated! Our final dish was the rabbit entree. Honestly, knocked it out of the park! Each dish, prepared with the same passion…coupled with our wine pairings…delicious is an understatement! Thanks for an incredible evening! You all showcased top-notch ingredients, perfectly executed by chef and team…topped off with superb wine pairings! Cheers!
