Rue Saint-Marc is a modern restaurant serving French inspired cuisine in the San Marco neighborhood. We have an extensive cocktail program and a unique wine and craft beer list. The ambiance is stylish while still being quite comfortable. Seating includes tufted leather booths, handmade wooden tables, a beautiful bar-height communal table, and an outdoor patio. An open kitchen allows guests to view the chefs in action.

A five-course tour of our current offerings, selected to create a seamless dining experience. This menu showcases the broad range of our cuisine with a focus on the best available ingredients of the season. Due to the nature of this menu we cannot always accommodate extensive allergies or dietary needs, but can prepare meals without gluten, pork, shellfish, tree nuts, peanuts, or dairy (with the exception of butter). This is a 2-3 hour dining experience depending on your party size. Participation by the entire table is required. Thank you for your understanding.

Due to the nature of this menu we cannot always accommodate extensive allergies or dietary needs. We are happy to prepare meals without gluten, beef, pork, shellfish, tree nuts, peanuts, or dairy (with the exception of butter). Salt, allium, egg, and butter cannot be removed from the dishes. We may not be able to accommodate individuals with multiple restrictions/allergies. In order to maintain the integrity of our dishes, no other dietary requirements can be met, such as vegan or vegetarian, as well as allergies to all seafood. Thank you for your understanding. Participation by the entire table is required.

Went there for the first time last night and had Dominick as our waiter, he was phenomenal. We did the tasting menu and they were able to satisfy the allergies of one of our party members without issue. Service was amazing, staff was friendly and attentive. Food and drinks were great. Can’t say enough good things about our waiter, dude knew what he was doing and did it well.

Rue was outstanding as usual. Every bite of every course was masterfully put together, great wine pairings too. Rue is THE foodie goto in North Florida.

We went with friends for dinner before seeing a play at Theatre Jax. Everything was excellent from the craft cocktails to the salads/soups to our main entrees. Gabby is always the perfect hostess helping to make for a great experience every time! We’ll try not to let it be so long before coming back.

I wanted to love this Restuarant. I didn’t. We reserved the $99 per person 5 course meal for 2. We were seated across the aisle from the bar and right next to the computer where orders were placed. There were usually wait staff standing next to our table putting their orders in. I asked it we could move to the next booth. We were the only people there at 5. He said no. He did offer another table in the “lounge” area that had a table that was about 2x3 on the wall by the bathrooms. We stayed at our original table where we could easily hear a man sitting at the bar talking about his 1 bedroom efficiency apartment that he lays $895 monthly for. I ordered champagne and as we were next to the bar I could see the bartender take an opened bottle of champagne and finish it into my glass. He then opened a fresh bottle of champagne and added it. Obviously an opened bottle of champagne from the day before, impacts the taste of the champagne. The food was innovative and delicious. We don’t eat much. I’m not sure the 5 course would be enough food for most people as the servings were small. The service was excellent. As others have mentioned, it was loud. We were thinking there would be lovely French music, but my husband said it sounded like music from New Orleans and it was loud. It would have been more relaxing to also turn the lights down. The Restuarant wasn’t a fit for us, but it might be for others.
