Chef Ali Mesghali’s love of cooking began while growing up in Esfahan, Iran and Los Angeles, California. This interest grew to become a passion and a career after Ali moved to Atlanta, Georgia. In the kitchen, as well as in the dining room, Ali is known for his pursuit of perfection, his intensity and a love for what he does. This unending aspiration for perfection has been instrumental in establishing the standard for Persian cuisine in Atlanta. This was our first visit to the Colony Square location. It was just as wonderful as Sandy Springs! We were meeting friends for a business dinner. It was relaxed and we were able to talk and the food was spectacular, as expected. Thank you!

Rumi’s has always been my favorite in Atlanta, so when a previous resident of 30 years ago was visiting from Buffalo, I had to take her there. Of course, even on a Sunday night it was busy. We had another epic meal and experience there!
