Rumi's Kitchen first opened more than a decade ago in Atlanta, the result of years of development by Chef / Owner Ali Mesghali. Showcasing the flavors of Iran -- fresh herbs, kabobs cooked over an open-fire grill -- quickly won loyal guests at the original location in Sandy Springs, GA and set us on pace to open our first restaurant outside of Georgia in 2020. Rumi was a 13th-century Persian poet whose words and life teach us how to find inner peace, happiness and love. We invite you to Rumi’s Kitchen where fresh, healthy food and attentive Persian hospitality await you.

Atmosfera sempre unica e cibo super. Unico vero problema è la rumorosità. Impossibile parlare, impossibile sentire.

Delicious Persian food with plenty of options for small plates and sharing. It would be easy for a vegetarian to eat here. The presentation is attractive and the seasonings are delicate and flavorful. The beautiful wall mural carved out of the old brick wall of whirling Dervishes is a true art piece. My only complaint is how loud it can be at peak times.

Rumi Restaurant is the perfect spot for authentic Persian food. Delicious dishes, a cozy atmosphere, and polite, professional staff make every visit a great experience. Highly recommended for anyone craving quality Iranian cuisine!

We had a great experience here all around. The restaurant is beautiful. The service was friendly, quick, and knowledgeable. Food and cocktails were amazing. I cannot wait to be back!

We visited from NYC. 2 out of 3 of our party were Iranian and we all generally liked the food and ambiance, but were taken aback by how rude and socially awkward our server was. She was very inarticulate, didn’t seem comfortable with nut allergies, and rushed us through our entire meal. About thirty minutes into the meal, while one of was clearly eating, she asked if we wanted containers to pack our food to go. In defense of the restaurant, I noticed other tables had better servers and the rest of the staff seemed pleasant. The food was rather good, particularly the koobideh kebab. The rice could have been fluffier and a bit less dry. Not sure I would return based on the service.
