   Made a reservation here for a birthday. Didn’t get anything special for the birthday until I reminded them and bought a desert that I didn’t want. Felt like we were getting rushed the whole time so they could flip the table. Most of the food was spectacular. The filet was alright - should have went with lamb or chicken for the entree. Will probably go back but was a little disappointed.

   First time at Rumi, and we already want to go back. Arif, our server, was extremely knowledgeable in the menu. He made recommendations for us since it was our first time. We did the sea bass, the shish kabob, lamb hummus, and barata with fig. Everything was so delicious. We look forward to dining with Rumi again and taking our friends so we can try more! Thank you Arif for a fantastic introduction to Rumi.

   Rumi's is one of my top 5 Houston restaurants. First of all, I love Persian food and their cuisine is both authentic and gourmet. The restaurant is grandly beautiful, yet comfortable. Our server was gracious and helpful and highly professional. We had a lovely evening. Rumi's is very popular so plan to book ahead.

   Arif was absolutely amazing. He gave the best wine pairing options for our entrees and was super patient, attentive, and an expert at knowing the menu. Being from Atlanta, Rumis is a favorite! Thank you Arif for making tonight so special.

   Our appetizers were very good . My shih-kebab was very dry, even so I ordered medium. Staff was very friendly and attentive.
