First time here-beautiful restaurant. We all ordered a la carte off of the brunch menu. Everything was delicious. Food came out quickly and hot. Eggs were perfect-some ordered scrambled others over easy. The bacon and goetta were cooked to crispy as requested. The breakfast potatoes also were requested crispy and the chef nailed it. Our server was just okay-we had to ask for drink refills and she would walk away without asking if we needed anything. No salt and pepper on the table but the assistant that delivered our food delivered those right away. Weird that this upscale restaurant provides the little flavored cream cups just thrown on the table-we had to request regular cream. Also butter and jam served in the little carryout packets-for this restaurant I would have expected a better presentation for brunch. Restrooms very clean. Parking is available on the street or lot next door-paid parking unless you park on a side street.

Service was very friendly. Wait staff knew the menu for bar and gave great options for food. Loved the atmosphere , didn’t feel like you needed to be dressed a certain way. All felt welcome!

It was a very good experience…our only complaint was requesting a high top and the one they put us at was way too wobbly and ended up being seated at a low table in the corner by the windows and was really cold!! Our server was great and food was delicious!! We also sat at the bar for a drink while we waited and bartenders were great as well!!

Was seated and it took 10 minutes to get a waitress to come over and take our drink orders. Then only 1 drink came and needed to wait another 10 minutes for the other two drinks. after that it was like a lightbulb turned on and service for better. Food was decent.

Have been to Rusk a few times without any problems but last night was quite poor. They overbooked the dining hall with people without reservation so anyone who booked had to wait. Once seated waited 30 minutes before drinks came out. Once served the food was cold and had to be sent back. Lastly, was told by the server there were not enough silverware and had to wait eat. Too expensive for this type of experience

Thank you for the review. I would like to address your concerns. We did not over book the dining hall. There was a dance up the street for Jr. High and High School students. 75% of our customer base last night, were these students and they were walk in customers with literally no where else to go. There were roughly 55 young people who walked in at the same time. We do apologize for the temperature of the food and the silverware that you are speaking of. As you can see from our hundreds of other reviews and from your past experiences at our establishment, last night was completely and totally out of the ordinary. We do hope you will come back and give us another opportunity.

Good restaurant. Brought the appetizer and meal at the same time. My wife got here salad and pasta at the same time as well. Always seems at Rusk everyone is in training.

Our server, Morgan, was fabulous! Our food and drinks were very good also. The only minor issue was did temperature. My entree was just right, but the sides with it were lukewarm, especially the mashed potatoes. Other than that, it was a very enjoyable evening!
