Such a shame. A once great restaurant is now to be avoided. The onion soup was tasteless as was the "beef" Stroganoff. It first came with a piece of meat that was 85% fat. After we told them about that they brought a very good piece of meat. The noodles were without any flavor. I had been coming here since the '50s but never again.

Had not been to NY in 30 years and had never been to the tearoom, so i thought it was time. I was so glad I did. One of the best afternoon teas I’ve ever had. Ambiance was perfect as was the service.

Just fantastic, I recommend the caviar and vodka tasting! Also, they have multiple soups/stews that you can split between a partner as an appetizer! Definitely would go again!

I took five ladies for brunch on a Sunday. It was joyfully full of happy people. The food was delicious. The service was impeccable, and the scenery is out of a Hollywood set.

Great atmosphere, good food, but surprising lack of attention by the wait staff. The price of the meal did not reflect on the dining experience. We felt that they are resting on their laurels. Not what we had hoped for….. We have dined at RTR 6-7 times in the last 20 years and this will probably be our last.
