We hadn't been to Ruthie's for several years, but will be back. The food was extraordinary, and the service and ambience was wonderful. Loved it all!

Ruthie’s definitely lived up to the hype! We’ve had this place recommended to us for years, so to celebrate a big milestone, my fiancé took me here. We were able to snag a last-minute reservation on OpenTable, and the entire experience was wonderful. Our waitress was incredibly attentive—our water glasses were refilled frequently, and even when the restaurant got busy, she made sure to check on us. We were seated in a cozy, intimate circular booth on the side, which made the evening feel even more special. What I’d Order Again: ⭐ Alaskan King Crab Legs – Pro tip: Order these as a side to another dish instead of as an entrée—it’s much cheaper that way! The crab was incredibly fresh, thanks to their flash-freezing process, and it really hit the spot. ⭐ Lobster Bisque – HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!! I added this last-minute when our waitress mentioned that people travel just to try it, and it did not disappoint. The freshly cracked pepper, along with the truffle accents, made this so flavorful and rich. ⭐ Cocktails – The drinks were fantastic! I had the Tweed Jacket cocktail and really enjoyed it. What made it even cooler was that our waitress actually created a cocktail that got added to the menu when she started working there—so cool! ⭐ Scallops – Perfectly cooked with a stunning presentation. While I’ve had better on the coasts, I was impressed given that we’re in Iowa. ⭐ Desserts (HIGHLY recommend the homemade coffee ice cream & tiramisu!) – The tiramisu was amazing, and I could tell it was homemade because I nearly choked on the cocoa powder (the ultimate test!). But the real star? The homemade coffee ice cream—absolutely phenomenal.

We had a fantastic experience at Ruthie‘s last night. We were celebrating my daughter’s birthday, and when I called ahead to speak to the manager, he was more than willing to accommodate our special requests. Our server was fantastic, checked on us plenty but didn’t make us feel, rushed and took very good care of all of our needs. It is so refreshing that no matter which Ruthie’s location we go to we always have the same great experience with food and service.

Steak with mushrooms perfect also the Cesar salad good . I had the salmon it was good would prefer the old way. Bread and butters excellent. Thank you for great service.

This is a gem in an otherwise basic casino. The Pheasant civet appetizer was delicious as were our entrees. I was able to talk to the manager and thank him for a great dinner and discuss some possibilities for adding to the already good wine menu.

Service was excellent. Wine list very good. Waiter offered to decant the bottle which was definitely appreciated. My wife’s steak was well cooked and delicious. I ordered the Bourride. Sea bass was very well prepared. Prawns and muscles were overcooked. All the clam shells were empty. I would rate her meal as a 5/5 and mine as a 3/5. Ordered poached apple dessert to go. Good taste but small portion for the price. We’ll come back but will stick with the steaks.
