                              Based on all the hype, I made reservations for my 30th wedding anniversary at Ruth's Chris with vey high expectations. While the service was very good, and the ambiance is very formal and makes the occasion feel special, the food was mediocre. The steak was aged and tender but was nothing out of the ordinary. We ordered medium and received medium rare, so we sliced them thin and cooked them on our 500 deg plates. Again, the steak was Okay, but what isn't when served in browned butter... The baked potato was okay, and the chopped salad was excessively abundant to the point where the flavor became unsavory. The smashed mashed potatoes seemed to be boxed au gratin and were under cooked. The complimentary cheesecake was exceptional. And the Happy Anniversary confectionary statement on the plate was special as well. Overall, I didn't feel the food lived up to the expectations or the price.

                              Ruth's Chris is always tremendously flavorful ! It's essentially impossible to pass up their filets, creamed spinach, & Caesar salad. The carrot cake can be shared by the table. Our server Aleesha was attentive, knowledgeable, & personable!

                              We went early due to the FW Savor menu. Our table turned out to be a booth and it was great. Our primary server and and the food servers were so nice and friendly. We had a nice evening and did not feel rushed. Food was great also.

                              After never having eaten here- we thought it would be a fun experience as a birthday dinner. To fancy up and create a new memory. That being said- we are totally ok with a one time experience. Ruths is not any better than getting steak at surrounding restaurants in the area. The quality of meat is very good. The drinks were good. Where Ruth fell short for us- The etiquette of the entire restaurant lacks. I was expecting way more high end than what we got. I made the reservation almost a month in advance and we were seated at a six top long table for a party of two- in front of an emergency exit. The lights were not low. They have sports playing on Tv at the bar in arms throw. How is that etiquette? Not everyone cares about sports teams. The beef we ordered ( a filet and bone in ribeye) was simply not seasoned- instead it comes on a hot plate with bubbling butter. Thats it?? The quality as mentioned before was very good. But I love a good seasoned compound butter steak. We eat steak at home 3-4 times a week and make it with more flavor than Ruths. We had a good evening because I enjoyed the company, but I have to say I was let down because I had this false expectation of what I thought Ruths was. I have better EXPERIENCE at Club Soda. We have dined exclusive. We have dined in bars. But you know the difference and expect certain conditions at each. Ruths was mid. Best review I could give.
